Landes de La Poterie – Lamballe-Armor

Le bourg voisin de « La Poterie », rattaché au « Grand Lamballe », ne doit pas son nom au hasard : jusqu'au milieu du XXème siècle, l'activité potière y a été florissante. Les potiers extrayaient sur leurs landes l'argile nécessaire à leur ouvrage. Ils ont laissé derrière eux des centaines de trous dans la lande. Une faune (mares riches en batraciens et libellules) et une flore très spécifiques se sont développées dans ce milieu particulier, au point de faire classer le site. Protégée par un arrêté de biotope, la « Lande des Potiers » est, à 4 km du centre historique de Lamballe, une étape immanquable pour les amoureux de nature. Un sentier aménagé et un livret de découverte "Au pays des mille mares".

The neighbouring village of 'La Poterie' (The Pottery) is part of the 'Grand Lamballe' area and its name is no accident: up until the middle of the 20th century pottery was a thriving business here. Potters mined the clay moorlands for the materials they needed to practise their craft, and left behind hundreds of holes in the moors. Fauna (ponds rich in frog life and dragonflies) and very distinctive flora thrived in this particular environment, so much so that the site was listed. The 'Lande des Potiers' (Potters' Moor) is protected by a biotope order and is located 4km from the historic centre of Lamballe, an unmissable stopover for nature-lovers. Der Nachbarort "La Poterie", der zu "Grand Lamballe" gehört, verdankt seinen Namen nicht dem Zufall: Bis Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts blühte hier die Töpferei. Die Töpfer bauten auf ihren Heideflächen den für ihre Arbeit benötigten Ton ab. Sie hinterließen Hunderte von Löchern in der Heide. In dieser besonderen Umgebung entwickelte sich eine sehr spezifische Fauna (Tümpel, die reich an Amphibien und Libellen sind) und Flora, so dass das Gebiet unter Naturschutz gestellt wurde. Die "Heide der Töpfer", die durch einen Biotopbeschluss geschützt ist, liegt 4 km vom historischen Zentrum von Lamballe entfernt und ist ein Muss für alle Naturliebhaber. Ein angelegter Pfad und ein Entdeckungsheft "Au pays des mille mares" (Im Land der tausend Tümpel).

De pottenbakkers haalden de voor hun werk benodigde klei uit de heide. Ze lieten honderden gaten in de heide achter. Een zeer specifieke fauna (vijvers rijk aan vleermuizen en libellen) en flora hebben zich in dit bijzondere milieu ontwikkeld, zodanig dat het gebied is geclassificeerd. Het "Lande des Potiers", beschermd door een biotoopdecreet, op 4 km van het historische centrum van Lamballe, is een niet te missen halte voor natuurliefhebbers. Een pad en een ontdekkingsboekje "In het land van de duizend vijvers".

El pueblo vecino de "La Poterie", anexo a "Grand Lamballe", no debe su nombre al azar: hasta mediados del siglo XX, la actividad alfarera floreció allí. Los alfareros extraían de los páramos la arcilla necesaria para su trabajo. Dejaron atrás cientos de agujeros en el páramo. En este entorno particular se ha desarrollado una fauna (estanques ricos en batracios y libélulas) y una flora muy específicas, hasta el punto de tener el sitio clasificado. Protegido por un decreto de biotopo, el "Lande des Potiers", a 4 km del centro histórico de Lamballe, es una parada ineludible para los amantes de la naturaleza.
