STATUE : TENTATIVE DE COMMUNICATION – Saint-Béat-Lez

D'une hauteur de 110 cm, la statue représente un homme assis, tenant un oiseau. Il tente de communiquer avec lui en sifflant pour imiter son chant. L’artiste a voulu exprimer la tendresse que nous pouvons ressentir pour les animaux qui peuplent le monde. Olivier Delobel, installé près de Narbonne s'est formé à la sculpture du marbre à Carrare (Italie) à la fin des années 90. Il est spécialisé dans le portrait et les représentations animalières. Il travaille la terre cuite, le bronze et le marbre. Il a réalisé de nombreuses commandes en France et à l'international.
