Site archéologique des Bolards – Nuits-Saint-Georges

Les fouilles de l'agglomération gallo-romaine ont révélé d’importants vestiges : habitations, édifices publics, rues bordées de boutiques et d'ateliers et surtout, un remarquable centre cultuel constitué d'un grand sanctuaire et d'un temple dédié à Mithra. Cette agglomération a été fondée au Ier s. AEC par les Eduens puis romanisée. Son occupation s'est poursuivie jusqu'au début du Ve s.
