Séricourt, Village Patrimoine – Séricourt

Séricourt est surtout célèbre pour ses « Jardins de Séricourt », classés « jardin remarquable » en 2012. Son nom, qui signifie « petit jardin » en vieux français, rappelle l’atmosphère paisible de ce village entouré de collines et traversé par le ruisseau des Ayres. Ce village patrimoine compte aujourd’hui une soixantaine d’habitants, déterminés à préserver leur héritage, notamment en restaurant la chapelle Saint-Martin, le plus ancien bâtiment du patrimoine rural de la commune.

Séricourt is most famous for its "Jardins de Séricourt", classified as a "remarkable garden" in 2012. The name, which means "little garden" in Old French, recalls the peaceful atmosphere of this village surrounded by hills and crossed by the Ayres stream. Today, this heritage village is home to some sixty inhabitants, determined to preserve their heritage, in particular by restoring the Saint-Martin chapel, the commune?s oldest rural heritage building.

Séricourt ist vor allem für seine "Jardins de Séricourt" bekannt, die 2012 als "jardin remarquable" eingestuft wurden. Der Name bedeutet auf Altfranzösisch "kleiner Garten" und erinnert an die friedliche Atmosphäre des Dorfes, das von Hügeln umgeben ist und durch das der Bach Ayres fließt. Das Dorf zählt heute etwa 60 Einwohner, die entschlossen sind, ihr Erbe zu bewahren, insbesondere durch die Restaurierung der Kapelle Saint-Martin, dem ältesten Gebäude des ländlichen Kulturerbes der Gemeinde.

Séricourt is vooral bekend om zijn "Jardins de Séricourt", in 2012 geklasseerd als "opmerkelijke tuin". De naam, die "tuintje" betekent in het Oudfrans, roept de vredige sfeer op van dit dorp omringd door heuvels en doorkruist door de rivier de Ayres. Vandaag de dag herbergt dit erfgoeddorp ongeveer zestig inwoners die vastbesloten zijn om hun erfgoed te behouden, in het bijzonder door de kapel Saint-Martin te restaureren, het oudste landelijke erfgoedgebouw van de gemeente.

Séricourt es conocido sobre todo por sus "Jardins de Séricourt", clasificados como "jardín notable" en 2012. Su nombre, que significa "pequeño jardín" en francés antiguo, evoca el ambiente apacible de este pueblo rodeado de colinas y atravesado por el arroyo Ayres. Hoy en día, este pueblo patrimonial alberga a unos sesenta habitantes empeñados en preservar su patrimonio, en particular restaurando la capilla de Saint-Martin, el edificio patrimonial rural más antiguo del municipio.

Séricourt è conosciuta soprattutto per i suoi "Jardins de Séricourt", classificati come "giardino notevole" nel 2012. Il nome, che significa "piccolo giardino" in francese antico, evoca l'atmosfera tranquilla di questo villaggio circondato da colline e attraversato dal torrente Ayres. Oggi, questo villaggio storico ospita una sessantina di abitanti decisi a preservare il proprio patrimonio, in particolare restaurando la cappella di Saint-Martin, il più antico edificio rurale del comune.
