Der Park wurde nach einem Entwurf des Architekten Pierre le Muet angelegt und ist um einen großen Kanal herum gebaut, der mit einem sehr schönen Renaissance-Nymphäum endet, das dem Park eine bemerkenswerte Perspektive verleiht.
