Musée Henri-Martin – Cahors

Créé en 1833 et installé dans l’ancien palais épiscopal concordataire de Cahors, le musée présente l’œuvre du peintre néo-impressionniste Henri Martin, et conserve des collections relatives à l’archéologie, à l’ethnographie, à l’histoire et aux Beaux-Arts. Chaque année, des expositions y sont organisées : thématiques ou monographiques d'artistes invités, reconnus ou à découvrir. D'autres collections sont également mises en valeur : œuvres d’artistes du Quercy, pièces archéologiques monumentales, fonds Léon Gambetta… . Ateliers adultes et enfants et visites thématiques organisés toute l'année.

Founded in 1833 and housed in the former Concordat episcopal palace in Cahors, the museum presents the work of neo-impressionist painter Henri Martin, and holds collections relating to archaeology, ethnography, history and the fine arts. Every year, the museum organizes thematic or monographic exhibitions of works by guest artists, both well-known and those yet to be discovered. Other collections are also showcased, including works by Quercy artists, monumental archaeological pieces and the Léon Gambetta collection. Workshops for adults and children and themed tours are organized throughout the year.

Das Museum wurde 1833 gegründet und befindet sich im ehemaligen Bischofspalast des Konkordats von Cahors. Es zeigt das Werk des neoimpressionistischen Malers Henri Martin und beherbergt Sammlungen aus den Bereichen Archäologie, Ethnografie, Geschichte und Bildende Kunst. Jedes Jahr werden hier Ausstellungen organisiert: thematische oder monografische Ausstellungen von eingeladenen, anerkannten oder noch zu entdeckenden Künstlern. Andere Sammlungen werden ebenfalls hervorgehoben: Werke von Künstlern aus Quercy, monumentale archäologische Funde, der Fonds Léon Gambetta? Das ganze Jahr über werden Workshops für Erwachsene und Kinder sowie thematische Führungen organisiert.

Het museum werd opgericht in 1833 en is gevestigd in het voormalige bisschoppelijke paleis Concordat in Cahors. Het presenteert het werk van de neo-impressionistische schilder Henri Martin en heeft collecties met betrekking tot archeologie, etnografie, geschiedenis en beeldende kunst. Elk jaar organiseert het museum thematische of monografische tentoonstellingen met gastkunstenaars, zowel bekende als onbekende. Er worden ook andere collecties tentoongesteld: werken van Quercy-kunstenaars, monumentale archeologische stukken, de Léon Gambetta-collectie, enz. Het hele jaar door worden er workshops voor volwassenen en kinderen en thematische rondleidingen georganiseerd.

Creado en 1833 e instalado en el antiguo palacio episcopal de Cahors, el museo presenta el trabajo del pintor neo-impresionista Henri Martin (1860 a 1943), y conserva colecciones importantes relacionadas con la arqueología, la etnografía, la historia y las bellas artes. Cada año, se organizan grandes exposiciones en las que se tratan la historia del museo y el concepto de colección, la ciudad y la fotografía, la presencia de artistas importantes en el Quercy, y más allá, su influencia en la cultura desde 1936 hasta hoy.

Fondato nel 1833 e ospitato nell'ex palazzo episcopale Concordato di Cahors, il museo presenta l'opera del pittore neo-impressionista Henri Martin e ospita collezioni di archeologia, etnografia, storia e belle arti. Ogni anno il museo organizza mostre tematiche o monografiche con artisti ospiti, sia noti che da scoprire. Vengono inoltre presentate altre collezioni: opere di artisti del Quercy, pezzi archeologici monumentali, la collezione Léon Gambetta, ecc. Durante tutto l'anno vengono organizzati laboratori per adulti e bambini e visite guidate a tema.
