MAISON DU PATRIMOINE ET DE LA CULTURE – Valentine

Au cœur de l'ancienne bastide valentinoise, la maison du patrimoine a été aménagée dans une grande bâtisse qui fut la propriété de la famille paternelle du Maréchal Ferdinand Foch. Rachetée par la commune, inaugurée en 1951 par le président Vincent Auriol, et entièrement rénovée en 2011, l'endroit sert aujourd'hui aux activités culturelles et à la promotion du patrimoine de Valentine. 4 espaces sont à découvrir : la médiathèque, l'ancien salon de la famille Foch ornée de splendides toiles peintes du XIXème siècle qui accueille une exposition permanente sur Foch et les porcelaines de "Bleu de Valentine". A l'étage sont présentés des vestiges de la villa gallo-romaine datant du IVème siècle et d'un prieuré ayant couvert plusieurs siècles, ainsi qu'une salle d'expositions temporaires.

In the heart of the old bastide of Valentine, the house of heritage was built in a large building that was owned by the paternal family of Marshal Ferdinand Foch. Bought by the municipality, inaugurated in 1951 by President Vincent Auriol, and completely renovated in 2011, the place is now used for cultural activities and promotion of Valentine's heritage. 4 spaces are to be discovered: the media library, the former living room of the Foch family decorated with splendid paintings of the 19th century which hosts a permanent exhibition on Foch and the porcelains of "Bleu de Valentine". On the first floor, the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa dating from the 4th century and of a priory that spanned several centuries are presented, as well as a room for temporary exhibitions.

Im Herzen der alten Bastide von Valentine wurde das Haus des Kulturerbes in einem großen Gebäude eingerichtet, das der Familie väterlicherseits von Marschall Ferdinand Foch gehörte. Von der Gemeinde aufgekauft, 1951 von Präsident Vincent Auriol eingeweiht und 2011 komplett renoviert, dient der Ort heute kulturellen Aktivitäten und der Förderung des Kulturerbes von Valentine. es gibt 4 Räume zu entdecken: die Mediathek, den ehemaligen Salon der Familie Foch, der mit herrlichen bemalten Gemälden aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und eines Priorats, das mehrere Jahrhunderte überdauert hat, sowie ein Raum für wechselnde Ausstellungen präsentiert.
