Description
C’est au bout du môle Saint-Louis, cette chaussée empierrée longue de 650 mètres construite lors de la fondation de la ville, que trône le phare Saint-Louis. Construit vers 1680, démoli en 1944 par des mines allemandes, il a été reconstruit en 1948. Aujourd’hui, il continue de signaler par sa lumière rouge l'entrée du chenal et il est désormais ouvert au public. Venez gravir les marches de cet incroyable belvédère et profitez d'une vue à 360° sur le port de commerce, le port de plaisance et la vieille ville. > Quelques chiffres :

The Saint Louis jetty was the first structure to be built when the city was founded in 1666. It is 650 metres long.
The jetty has a walkway by the sea that stretches as far as the Saint-Louis lighthouse at its far end, where a verse by Paul Valéry is engraved.
It’s also where the marina is located with its 300 mooring rings. Visit to the Saint-Louis lighthouse:
The Saint-Louis lighthouse stands proudly at the end of the Saint Louis jetty. Built in around 1680 and destroyed by German mines in 1944, it was rebuilt in 1948.
Today it continues to use its red light to signal the entrance to the channel, and it is now open to the public. Come and climb the steps of this incredible observation tower and enjoy a 360° view over the commercial port, the harbour and the old town.
A few figures: 2,297 stones, 310 m3 of ashlar, 116 steps, 25.78 m high, 6.5 m in diameter at the base and 4.55 m at the top, 3 m in diameter inside.

De havendam Saint-Louis is het eerste bouwwerk dat bij de stichting van de stad sinds 1666 werd gebouwd. Het is 650 m lang en biedt een wandelroute langs de zee tot de vuurtoren helemaal op het einde, waar een vers van Paul Valéry werd ingegraveerd.
Het is ook de locatie van de plezierhaven met driehonderd aanlegringen.

El rompeolas Saint Louis, de 650 m de largo, fue la primera obra construida durante la fundación de la ciudad desde 1666.
Este espigón dispone de un paseo junto al mar hasta el faro Saint-Louis, situado en su extremo, en el que se encuentra grabado un verso de Paul Valéry.
También es el lugar de llegada del puerto de navegación de recreo con 300 amarres. Visita del faro Saint-Louis:
