Lavoir de Monco – Auros

Monco signifie le "mont chaud" car le lieu-dit est orienté au midi. La source est abondante et fournit de l'eau toute l'année. Elle alimentait l'un des principaux lavoirs du bourg, qui a été utilisé pendant des siècles. En ruine, le lavoir a été reconstruit à l'identique en 1999.

Monco means "hot mountain" because the place is oriented to the south. The spring is abundant and provides water all year round. It fed one of the main wash houses of the village, which was used for centuries. In ruins, the wash-house was rebuilt identically in 1999.

Monco bedeutet der "heiße Berg", da der Ort nach Süden ausgerichtet ist. Die Quelle ist ergiebig und liefert das ganze Jahr über Wasser. Sie speiste einen der wichtigsten Waschplätze des Ortes, der jahrhundertelang in Gebrauch war. Das Waschhaus war eine Ruine und wurde 1999 originalgetreu wieder aufgebaut.

Monco betekent "hete berg" omdat de plaats op het zuiden ligt. De bron is overvloedig en levert het hele jaar door water. Het voedde een van de belangrijkste wasplaatsen van het dorp, dat eeuwenlang werd gebruikt. In ruïnes werd het washuis in 1999 op identieke wijze herbouwd.
