La fontaine du Bourg – Gartempe

La fontaine et le lavoir, situés au coeur du bourg, non loin de l'église, datent de l'époque contemporaine. La fontaine, sur plan circulaire, est insérée dans le mur de soutènement et recouverte par une dalle en granite. La margelle est monolithe et de forme hémicirculaire. Le lavoir, rénové vers 1950, est de forme carrée avec trois côtés inclinés. Un ancien abreuvoir, comblé en 1956, a été reconstruit devant le lavoir grâce aux indications des villageois. La restauration du site a permis de découvrir un pavage pour l'accès à la fontaine.

The fountain and washhouse, located in the heart of the village, not far from the church, date from the modern era. The circular fountain is set into the retaining wall and covered by a granite slab. The coping is monolithic and hemicircular in shape. The wash-house, renovated around 1950, is square-shaped with three sloping sides. An old drinking trough, filled in 1956, was rebuilt in front of the washhouse thanks to indications from villagers. Restoration of the site has uncovered a pavement leading to the fountain.

Der Brunnen und das Waschhaus, die sich im Herzen des Dorfes unweit der Kirche befinden, stammen aus der modernen Zeit. Der Brunnen hat einen runden Grundriss, ist in die Stützmauer eingelassen und mit einer Granitplatte bedeckt. Der Rand ist monolithisch und hat eine halbkreisförmige Form. Das Waschhaus, das um 1950 renoviert wurde, hat einen quadratischen Grundriss mit drei schrägen Seiten. Eine alte Tränke, die 1956 zugeschüttet wurde, wurde dank der Hinweise der Dorfbewohner vor dem Waschhaus wieder aufgebaut. Bei der Restaurierung der Stätte wurde eine Pflasterung für den Zugang zum Brunnen entdeckt.

De fontein en het washuis in het hart van het dorp, niet ver van de kerk, dateren uit de moderne tijd. De ronde fontein is ingebed in de steunmuur en bedekt met een granieten plaat. De boordstenen zijn monolithisch en halfrond van vorm. De wasplaats, gerenoveerd rond 1950, is vierkant met drie schuine zijden. Een oude drinkbak, die in 1956 werd gevuld, werd heropgebouwd voor het washuis dankzij suggesties van de dorpsbewoners. De restauratie van de site heeft een voetpad blootgelegd dat naar de fontein leidde.

La fuente y el lavadero, situados en el corazón del pueblo, no lejos de la iglesia, datan de la época moderna. La fuente circular está empotrada en el muro de contención y cubierta por una losa de granito. El brocal es monolítico y de forma semicircular. El lavadero, renovado hacia 1950, tiene forma cuadrada con tres lados inclinados. Un antiguo abrevadero, que se rellenó en 1956, se reconstruyó delante del lavadero gracias a las sugerencias de los aldeanos. La restauración del lugar ha dejado al descubierto un pavimento que conducía a la fuente.

La fontana e il lavatoio, situati nel cuore del villaggio, non lontano dalla chiesa, risalgono all'epoca moderna. La fontana circolare è incastonata nel muro di contenimento e coperta da una lastra di granito. La copertura è monolitica e di forma semicircolare. Il lavatoio, ristrutturato intorno al 1950, è di forma quadrata con tre lati inclinati. Un vecchio abbeveratoio, riempito nel 1956, è stato ricostruito davanti al lavatoio grazie ai suggerimenti degli abitanti del villaggio. Il restauro del sito ha portato alla luce una pavimentazione che conduce alla fontana.
