Historial franco-allemand de la Grande Guerre au Hartmannswillerkopf – Wattwiller

L’Historial est un outil à multiples facettes, à la fois historique, touristique ainsi que mémoriel, et avant tout pédagogique. Il offre une vision large des évènements pendant la 1ère Guerre Mondiale en laissant toutefois une place centrale au Hartmannswillerkopf – Vieil Armand afin de servir de lien avec le site et le monument national voisin et de permettre aux visiteurs de mieux le décrypter. Au-delà de la vision locale, l’Historial interroge tout au long du parcours sur l’évolution des relations franco-allemandes et la longue construction d’un rapport d’amitié, du niveau individuel, débutant dès l’après-guerre lorsque les combattants des deux camps se retrouvent sur les champs de batailles, jusqu’aux cérémonies internationales et notamment celles du 3 août 2014 et du 10 novembre 2017.

The Historial is a multi-faceted tool, at once historical, tourist and memorial, and above all educational. It offers a broad vision of the events during the First World War, while leaving a central place to the Hartmannswillerkopf – Vieil Armand in order to serve as a link with the site and the neighboring national monument and to allow visitors to better understand it. Beyond the local vision, the Historial questions the evolution of Franco-German relations and the long construction of a relationship of friendship, from the individual level, beginning after the war when the combatants of both sides met on the battlefields, to the international ceremonies, notably those of August 3, 2014 and November 10, 2017.

Das Historial ist ein Instrument mit vielen Facetten, das gleichzeitig historisch, touristisch sowie gedenkstättenbezogen und vor allem pädagogisch ist. Es bietet einen breiten Überblick über die Ereignisse während des Ersten Weltkriegs, wobei jedoch dem Hartmannswillerkopf – Vieil Armand ein zentraler Platz eingeräumt wird, um als Bindeglied zwischen der Stätte und dem benachbarten Nationaldenkmal zu dienen und den Besuchern zu ermöglichen, dieses besser zu entschlüsseln. Über die lokale Sicht hinaus fragt das Historial auf dem gesamten Rundgang nach der Entwicklung der deutsch-französischen Beziehungen und dem langen Aufbau eines Freundschaftsverhältnisses, von der individuellen Ebene, die bereits in der Nachkriegszeit begann, als sich die Kämpfer beider Seiten auf den Schlachtfeldern wiederfanden, bis hin zu den internationalen Zeremonien und insbesondere denen am 3. August 2014 und am 10. November 2017.

De Historial is een veelzijdig instrument, tegelijk historisch, toeristisch en gedenkwaardig, en vooral educatief. Het biedt een brede visie op de gebeurtenissen van de Eerste Wereldoorlog, waarbij de Hartmannswillerkopf – Vieil Armand centraal staat om als schakel te dienen met de site en het naburige nationale monument en om bezoekers in staat te stellen deze beter te begrijpen. Naast de lokale visie stelt de Historial de evolutie van de Frans-Duitse betrekkingen en de lange opbouw van een vriendschapsrelatie in vraag, vanaf het individuele niveau, beginnend na de oorlog toen de strijders van beide zijden elkaar op de slagvelden ontmoetten, tot de internationale plechtigheden, met name die van 3 augustus 2014 en 10 november 2017.

El Historial es una herramienta polifacética, a la vez histórica, turística y conmemorativa, y sobre todo educativa. Ofrece una amplia visión de los acontecimientos de la Primera Guerra Mundial, al tiempo que deja un lugar central a la Hartmannswillerkopf ? Vieil Armand con el fin de servir de enlace con el sitio y el monumento nacional vecino y permitir a los visitantes comprenderlo mejor. Más allá de la visión local, el Historial cuestiona la evolución de las relaciones franco-alemanas y la larga construcción de una relación de amistad, desde el nivel individual, que comienza después de la guerra cuando los combatientes de ambos bandos se encuentran en los campos de batalla, hasta las ceremonias internacionales, en particular las del 3 de agosto de 2014 y el 10 de noviembre de 2017.

L'Historial è uno strumento poliedrico, che unisce storia, turismo, memoria e, soprattutto, educazione. Offre un'ampia visione degli eventi della Prima Guerra Mondiale, lasciando un posto centrale all'Hartmannswillerkopf ? Vieil Armand per fungere da collegamento tra il sito e il vicino monumento nazionale e per aiutare i visitatori a comprenderlo meglio. Al di là della visione locale, l'Historial guarda anche allo sviluppo delle relazioni franco-tedesche e al lungo processo di costruzione di un rapporto di amicizia, dal livello individuale, a partire dal dopoguerra quando i soldati di entrambe le parti si incontravano sui campi di battaglia, fino alle cerimonie internazionali, in particolare quelle del 3 agosto 2014 e del 10 novembre 2017.
