EGLISE SAINT-SYMPHORIEN D'AUBIGNY-SUR-BADIN – Le Montsaugeonnais

Sur les hauteurs du hameau d'Aubigny-sur-Badin se trouve l'église Saint-Symphorien, unique vestige d'un ancien prieuré fondé au XIe siècle. Il fut détruit pendant la guerre de Trente Ans. De structure gothique, l'église Saint-Symphorien se caractérise par un dépouillement cistercien et une influence Bourguignonne très marquée : nef de six travées avec bas-côtés voûtés d'ogives (fin XIIe), choeur à chevet plat (XIIIe), portail à tympan trilobé (XIIIe). L'église abrite un mobilier intéressant : armoire eucharistique de style flamboyant, maître-autel et retable. Le clocher est équipé de l'une des plus ancienne cloche du département (1562). Classée Monument Historique le 21 février 1914. Le cimetière d'origine mérovingienne, qui entoure cet édifice, bénéficie de la présence d'un arbre remarquable, un tilleul dit de Sully, âgé d'environ 400 ans.

On the heights of the hamlet of Aubigny-sur-Badin stands the church of Saint-Symphorien, the only vestige of an ancient priory founded in the 11th century. It was destroyed during the Thirty Years' War. Built in the Gothic style, Saint-Symphorien is characterized by Cistercian simplicity and a strong Burgundian influence: six-bay nave with rib-vaulted aisles (late 12th century), choir with flat chevet (13th century), portal with three-lobed tympanum (13th century). The church features interesting furnishings: flamboyant-style Eucharistic cupboard, high altar and altarpiece. The bell tower is equipped with one of the oldest bells in the department (1562). Classified as a Historic Monument on February 21, 1914. The cemetery, of Merovingian origin, which surrounds the church, boasts a remarkable tree, the 400-year-old Sully lime.

Auf den Höhen des Weilers Aubigny-sur-Badin befindet sich die Kirche Saint-Symphorien, der einzige Überrest eines ehemaligen Priorats, das im 11. Jahrhundert gegründet wurde und während des Dreißigjährigen Krieges zerstört wurde. Der Glockenturm ist mit einer der ältesten Glocken des Departements ausgestattet (1562). Sie wurde am 21. Februar 1914 als historisches Monument klassifiziert. Der Friedhof merowingischen Ursprungs, der dieses Gebäude umgibt, profitiert von einem bemerkenswerten Baum, einer sogenannten Sully-Linde, die etwa 400 Jahre alt ist.
