ÉGLISE SAINT-SYLVESTRE-DES-BROUSSES – Puéchabon

Cette sympathique petite église romane est liée au hameau de Montcalmès, bien que très éloignée de ce dernier. En fait, à l’époque, la vie locale essentiellement agricole avait favorisé un habitat diffus et le lieu de prière devait être implanté de façon équitable pour les populations. L’église à l’origine propriété de l’abbaye d’Aniane, est vendue à la révolution. Par la suite, elle reviendra à la commune de Puéchabon. Ses murs épais et quelques rénovations l’ont conduite en parfait état aux portes du troisième millénaire.

This nice little Romanesque church is linked to the hamlet of Montcalmès, although it is very far from it. In fact, at the time, the local life, essentially agricultural, had favored a diffuse habitat and the place of prayer had to be implanted in an equitable way for the populations. The church, originally the property of the abbey of Aniane, was sold during the revolution. Later, it was returned to the commune of Puéchabon. Its thick walls and some renovations have brought it to a perfect state at the doors of the third millennium.

Diese sympathische kleine romanische Kirche ist mit dem Weiler Montcalmès verbunden, obwohl sie sehr weit von diesem entfernt liegt. In der Tat hatte damals das hauptsächlich landwirtschaftliche Leben vor Ort eine diffuse Besiedlung begünstigt und der Gebetsort musste für die Bevölkerung gleichmäßig verteilt werden. Die Kirche, die ursprünglich der Abtei von Aniane gehörte, wurde während der Revolution verkauft. Später fiel sie an die Gemeinde Puéchabon zurück. Ihre dicken Mauern und einige Renovierungen haben sie in einen perfekten Zustand an der Schwelle zum dritten Jahrtausend versetzt.

Dit mooie Romaanse kerkje is verbonden met het gehucht Montcalmès, hoewel het er ver vandaan ligt. In feite had het hoofdzakelijk agrarische lokale leven in die tijd een diffuse habitat bevorderd en de plaats van het gebed moest op een billijke manier voor de bevolkingen worden ingeplant. De kerk, oorspronkelijk eigendom van de abdij van Aniane, werd tijdens de Revolutie verkocht. Het werd later teruggegeven aan de gemeente Puéchabon. De dikke muren en enkele renovaties hebben het in een perfecte staat gebracht bij het aanbreken van het derde millennium.

Esta pequeña y bonita iglesia románica está vinculada a la aldea de Montcalmès, aunque está muy alejada de ella. En efecto, en aquella época, la vida local, esencialmente agrícola, había favorecido un hábitat difuso y el lugar de oración debía implantarse de forma equitativa para las poblaciones. La iglesia era originalmente propiedad de la Abadía de Aniane, pero fue vendida durante la Revolución. Posteriormente fue devuelta al municipio de Puéchabon. Sus gruesos muros y algunas renovaciones lo han llevado a un estado perfecto en los albores del tercer milenio.

Questa graziosa chiesetta romanica è legata alla frazione di Montcalmès, anche se è molto lontana da essa. Infatti, a quel tempo, la vita locale, essenzialmente agricola, aveva favorito un habitat diffuso e il luogo di preghiera doveva essere impiantato in modo equo per le popolazioni. La chiesa era originariamente di proprietà dell'Abbazia di Aniane, ma fu venduta durante la Rivoluzione. In seguito è stato restituito al comune di Puéchabon. Le sue spesse mura e alcune ristrutturazioni l'hanno portata in uno stato perfetto all'alba del terzo millennio.
