ÉGLISE SAINT-PIERRE – Castillon-de-Larboust

L'église Saint-Pierre (anciennement Saint-Barthélemy) fait partie des nombreuses petites églises montagnardes de la vallée du Larboust. Mentionnée dès le Moyen Âge, l’église primitive remonterait au XIIe siècle, dans un style roman simple. Elle a toutefois connu de nombreuses reconstructions et restaurations, notamment entre 1868 et 1890, sous la direction de l’architecte Castex. Elle recèle deux cloches datant de 1579 et 1789 qui sont classées monuments historiques au titre d'objets.

Saint-Pierre (formerly Saint-Barthélemy) is one of the many small mountain churches in the Larboust valley. Mentioned as far back as the Middle Ages, the original church dates back to the 12th century, in a simple Romanesque style. However, it has undergone numerous reconstructions and restorations, notably between 1868 and 1890, under the direction of architect Castex. Two bells dating from 1579 and 1789 are listed as historic monuments.

Die Kirche Saint-Pierre (früher Saint-Barthélemy) ist eine der vielen kleinen Bergkirchen im Larboust-Tal. Die ursprüngliche Kirche, die bereits im Mittelalter erwähnt wurde, soll aus dem 12. Jahrhundert stammen und in einem einfachen romanischen Stil erbaut worden sein. Sie wurde jedoch mehrfach umgebaut und restauriert, insbesondere zwischen 1868 und 1890 unter der Leitung des Architekten Castex. In der Kirche befinden sich zwei Glocken aus den Jahren 1579 und 1789, die als historische Objekte unter Denkmalschutz stehen.

De kerk Saint-Pierre (vroeger Saint-Barthélemy) is een van de vele kleine bergkerkjes in de Larboust vallei. De oorspronkelijke kerk, die al in de Middeleeuwen werd genoemd, dateert uit de 12e eeuw en heeft een eenvoudige romaanse stijl. De kerk heeft echter vele reconstructies en restauraties ondergaan, met name tussen 1868 en 1890, onder leiding van de architect Castex. Er hangen twee klokken uit 1579 en 1789, die op de monumentenlijst staan.

Menzionata già nel Medioevo, la chiesa originale risale al XII secolo, in un semplice stile romanico. Tuttavia, è stata sottoposta a numerose ricostruzioni e restauri, in particolare tra il 1868 e il 1890, sotto la direzione dell'architetto Castex. Contiene due campane del 1579 e del 1789, classificate come monumenti storici.
