Église Saint-Laurent – Grivy-Loisy

L'imposante toiture de l’église Saint-Laurent a été construite pour pouvoir accueillir tous les villageois dans une salle refuge en cas d'attaque. La façade est habillée par un grand portail en forme d’ogive comportant quatre médaillons finement sculptés.

The imposing roof of St. Lawrence Church was built to be able to accommodate all the villagers in a refuge room in case of an attack. The façade is adorned by a large ogive-shaped portal with four finely carved medallions.

Das imposante Dach der St.-Laurentius-Kirche wurde gebaut, um im Falle eines Angriffs alle Dorfbewohner in einem Schutzraum unterbringen zu können. Die Fassade wird von einem großen spitzbogigen Portal mit vier fein geschnitzten Medaillons verkleidet.

Het imposante dak van de St. Lawrence kerk werd gebouwd om alle dorpelingen in een veilige ruimte onder te brengen in geval van een aanval. De gevel is versierd met een groot ogivaal portaal met vier fijn gesneden medaillons.

El imponente techo de la iglesia de San Lorenzo se construyó para albergar a todos los habitantes del pueblo en una sala segura en caso de ataque. La fachada está decorada con un gran portal ojival con cuatro medallones finamente tallados.
