ÉGLISE NOTRE DAME – Villerupt

L'église est remarquable pour son orgue du XIXème siècle et classé Monument Historique. Il s'agit probablement de l'ancien instrument des Dames du très Saint-Sacrement de Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, transféré à Villerupt en 1905. En 1929, il est restauré au titre des dommages de guerre puis laissé à l'abandon de nombreuses années. Une association "Les amis de l'orgue" se constitue en 1998 et, avec l'appui de la municipalité, en demande sa protection.

The church is remarkable for its 19th century organ, classified as a historical monument. It is probably the former instrument of the Ladies of the Blessed Sacrament of Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, transferred to Villerupt in 1905. In 1929, it was restored as a war damage and then left abandoned for many years. An association "Les amis de l'orgue" was formed in 1998 and, with the support of the municipality, requested its protection.

Die Kirche ist bemerkenswert wegen ihrer Orgel aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, die als historisches Monument klassifiziert ist. Es handelt sich wahrscheinlich um das ehemalige Instrument der "Dames du Très Saint Sacrement" aus Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, das 1905 nach Villerupt verlegt wurde.
