Eglise Notre-Dame-de-la-Providence – Digoin

Destinée à remplacer l'ancienne église romane devenue trop exigüe, l'église de Digoin, de style roman-byzantin et pleine de références architecturales, fut construite à partir de 1869. Les tympans et chapiteaux de la façade sont sculptés de 1976 à 1978, sous l'impulsion du Père Rhéty. Trois thèmes principaux sont abordés sur les tympans : l'appel de Dieu, les noces de Cana et les disciples d'Emmaüs. Un hommage est rendu au grand chef cuisinier Alexandre DUMAINE, natif de Digoin.

Intended to replace the old Romanesque church which had become too small, the church of Digoin, in Romanesque-Byzantine style and full of architectural references, was built from 1869 onwards. The tympanums and capitals of the façade were sculpted between 1976 and 1978, under the impetus of Father Rhéty. The tympanum has three main themes: the call of God, the wedding at Cana and the disciples of Emmaus. A tribute is paid to the great chef Alexandre DUMAINE, a native of Digoin.

Die Kirche von Digoin, die die alte, zu klein gewordene romanische Kirche ersetzen sollte, wurde ab 1869 im romanisch-byzantinischen Stil und voller architektonischer Referenzen erbaut. Die Tympana und Kapitelle der Fassade wurden von 1976 bis 1978 unter der Leitung von Pater Rhéty geschnitzt. Drei Hauptthemen werden auf den Tympanons behandelt: der Ruf Gottes, die Hochzeit zu Kana und die Emmausjünger. Dem in Digoin geborenen Spitzenkoch Alexandre DUMAINE wird eine Hommage gewidmet.

Ter vervanging van de oude romaanse kerk, die te klein was geworden, werd de kerk van Digoin, in romaans-byzantijnse stijl en vol architectonische verwijzingen, gebouwd vanaf 1869. De timpanen en kapitelen van de gevel werden gebeeldhouwd tussen 1976 en 1978, onder leiding van pater Rhéty. Het timpaan beeldt drie hoofdthema's uit: de roep van God, de bruiloft te Kana en de Emmaüsgangers. Er wordt hulde gebracht aan de grote chef Alexandre DUMAINE, een inwoner van Digoin.

Destinada a sustituir a la antigua iglesia románica que se había quedado pequeña, la iglesia de Digoin, de estilo románico-bizantino y llena de referencias arquitectónicas, se construyó a partir de 1869. Los tímpanos y capiteles de la fachada fueron esculpidos entre 1976 y 1978, bajo la dirección del padre Rhéty. El tímpano representa tres temas principales: la llamada de Dios, las bodas de Caná y los discípulos de Emaús. Se rinde homenaje al gran chef Alexandre DUMAINE, natural de Digoin.

Destinata a sostituire la vecchia chiesa romanica divenuta troppo piccola, la chiesa di Digoin, in stile romanico-bizantino e ricca di riferimenti architettonici, fu costruita a partire dal 1869. I timpani e i capitelli della facciata sono stati scolpiti tra il 1976 e il 1978, sotto la direzione di padre Rhéty. Il timpano raffigura tre temi principali: la chiamata di Dio, le nozze di Cana e i discepoli di Emmaus. Viene reso omaggio al grande chef Alexandre DUMAINE, originario di Digoin.
