Cité viticole – La vallée des chats – Katzenthal

En 1521, la Seigneurie des Hohlandsbourg détenait, entourée de vignoble, la cité viticole de Katzenthal. Localisée dans un vallon et dominé par le château du Wineck, le village a aujourd'hui l'autorisation de produire des vins d'appelations Alsace grand cru, Alsace et Crémant d'Alsace.

In 1521, the Hohlandsbourg lordship held the wine-producing town of Katzenthal, surrounded by vineyards. Located in a valley and dominated by the Wineck castle, the village is now authorized to produce wines of the appellations Alsace grand cru, Alsace and Crémant d'Alsace.

Im Jahr 1521 besaß die Herrschaft der Hohlandsbourg die von Weinbergen umgebene Weinstadt Katzenthal. Das in einem Tal gelegene und vom Schloss Wineck überragte Dorf hat heute die Erlaubnis, Weine mit den Bezeichnungen Alsace grand cru, Alsace und Crémant d'Alsace zu produzieren.
