Chapelle Saint-Laurent – Plouguiel

Chapelle datant du 4ème quart du 19ème siècle. Elle a été bénite, selon René Couffon, le 18 mai 1896. Cette chapelle de plan rectangulaire et à vaisseau unique est construite en moellons de granite et schiste. Elle est dotée de contreforts angulaires et présente des pignons découverts. Le mur-pignon ouest, ouvert d'une porte à arc brisé, est couronné d'un clocher en maçonnerie à baie unique. Le chevet est ouvert d'une fenêtre à arc brisé et à remplage de granite. L'encadrement des baies, les chaînes d'angles, les corniches, les rampants des pignons et le clocher sont édifiés en pierre de taille de granite.

This chapel has a rectangular plan and a single nave, built of granite and schist rubble. It is equipped with angular buttresses and has open gables. The west gable wall, open to a door with a pointed arch, is crowned by a masonry bell tower with a single bay. The chevet is open with a window with a pointed arch and granite filling. The frames of the bays, the corner chains, the cornices, the gable ramps and the bell tower are built of granite ashlar.
