CHAPELLE DU GENETEIL, CENTRE D'ART CONTEMPORAIN – Château-Gontier-sur-Mayenne

Centre d'Art contemporain du Carré, scène nationale, la Chapelle du Genêteil accueille depuis une quinzaine d'années des artistes afin de leur permettre de réaliser des projets spécifiques au lieu. Bâtiment roman du XIIe siècle à l'architecture sobre, le bâtiment impose de lui même la création et la production d'œuvres in situ. Avec plus de 8000 visiteurs en 2011, la chapelle du Genêteil poursuit ses multiples missions : promouvoir la création nationale et internationale, soutenir et accompagner les artistes, proposer une médiation et une sensibilisation aux œuvres adaptées à tous les publics, organiser des voyages, des conférences et des rencontres… Autant de rendez-vous complémentaires aux expositions. La Chapelle est fermée pour travaux de restauration. Le Carré investit un nouvel espace d’exposition dans l’enceinte du Pôle culturel Les Ursulines : Le 4bis.

The Chapelle du Genêteil, contemporary art center of Le Carré, scène nationale, has been welcoming artists for some fifteen years, enabling them to carry out site-specific projects. A 12th-century Romanesque building with a sober architecture, the building itself imposes the creation and production of site-specific works. With over 8,000 visitors in 2011, the Genêteil chapel continues to pursue its multiple missions: to promote national and international creative work, to support and accompany artists, to offer mediation and awareness-raising activities adapted to all audiences, to organize trips, conferences and meetings… These events complement the exhibitions. La Chapelle is closed for restoration work. Le Carré has moved into a new exhibition space at the Pôle culturel Les Ursulines: Le 4bis.

Die Chapelle du Genêteil, das Zentrum für zeitgenössische Kunst des Carré, einer nationalen Bühne, beherbergt seit etwa 15 Jahren Künstler, um ihnen die Möglichkeit zu geben, ortsspezifische Projekte zu realisieren. Das Gebäude ist ein romanisches Gebäude aus dem 12. Jahrhundert mit schlichter Architektur, das von sich aus die Schaffung und Produktion von Kunstwerken in situ vorschreibt. Mit mehr als 8000 Besuchern im Jahr 2011 setzt die Chapelle du Genêteil ihre vielfältigen Aufgaben fort: Förderung des nationalen und internationalen Kunstschaffens, Unterstützung und Begleitung von Künstlern, Vermittlung und Sensibilisierung für die Werke, die für jedes Publikum geeignet sind, Organisation von Reisen, Konferenzen und Begegnungen… So viele Termine, die die Ausstellungen ergänzen. Die Kapelle ist wegen Restaurierungsarbeiten geschlossen. Le Carré bezieht einen neuen Ausstellungsraum innerhalb des Kulturzentrums Les Ursulines: Le 4bis.

De Chapelle du Genêteil, het centrum voor hedendaagse kunst van Le Carré, het nationale podium, ontvangt al zo'n vijftien jaar kunstenaars die er projecten kunnen uitvoeren die specifiek zijn voor de locatie. Het Romaanse gebouw dateert uit de twaalfde eeuw en heeft een sobere architecturale stijl. Het gebouw zelf is een natuurlijke omgeving voor de creatie en productie van site-specifieke werken. Met meer dan 8.000 bezoekers in 2011 blijft de kapel van Genêteil haar verschillende missies vervullen: nationaal en internationaal creatief werk promoten, kunstenaars ondersteunen en begeleiden, bemiddeling en sensibilisering bieden voor de kunstwerken aangepast aan elk publiek, reizen, conferenties en ontmoetingen organiseren… Zoveel evenementen als aanvulling op de tentoonstellingen. La Chapelle is gesloten voor restauratiewerkzaamheden. Le Carré verhuist naar een nieuwe tentoonstellingsruimte binnen de Pôle culturel Les Ursulines: Le 4bis.

La Chapelle du Genêteil, centro de arte contemporáneo de Le Carré, escenario nacional, acoge a artistas desde hace unos quince años, permitiéndoles realizar proyectos específicos del lugar. Edificio románico del siglo XII de sobrio estilo arquitectónico, el propio edificio es un marco natural para la creación y producción de obras site-specific. Con más de 8.000 visitantes en 2011, la capilla de Genêteil sigue cumpliendo sus múltiples misiones: promover la creación nacional e internacional, apoyar y acompañar a los artistas, ofrecer mediación y sensibilización sobre las ?uvres adaptadas a todos los públicos, organizar viajes, conferencias y encuentros… Tantos eventos como complemento de las exposiciones. La Chapelle está cerrada por obras de restauración. Le Carré se traslada a un nuevo espacio de exposición dentro del Pôle culturel Les Ursulines: Le 4bis.

La Chapelle è chiusa per lavori di restauro. Le Carré si trasferisce in un nuovo spazio espositivo all'interno del Pôle culturel Les Ursulines: Le 4bis.
