Chapelle des Pénitents – Treignac

Cette chapelle fut construite à l'aide de souscriptions. La première pierre a été posée en avril 1646. Ce lieu de culte recevait la Confrérie des Pénitents Blancs fondée en 1637 pour contrebalancer l'influence protestante; pendant la Révolution, un club politique l'a utilisée pour y tenir ses réunions. Au début du XXème siècle, la Confrérie s'est éteinte au décès du dernier des Pénitents. Suite à une campagne de financement participatif et à la participation du département certains tableaux présents dans l'édifice ont fait l'objets de restauration, des travaux d’assèchement du bâtiment complèteront ces réfections.

The chapel was built with the help of subscriptions. The foundation stone was laid in April 1646. This place of worship was home to the Confrérie des Pénitents Blancs, founded in 1637 to counterbalance Protestant influence; during the Revolution, a political club used it to hold its meetings. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Brotherhood died out with the death of the last of the Penitents. Following a crowdfunding campaign and the participation of the département, some of the paintings in the building have been restored, and work to dry out the building will complete the repairs.

Diese Kapelle wurde mithilfe von Subskriptionen errichtet. Der Grundstein wurde im April 1646 gelegt. Das Gotteshaus diente der Bruderschaft der "Pénitents Blancs", die 1637 gegründet wurde, um dem protestantischen Einfluss entgegenzuwirken. Während der Revolution nutzte ein politischer Club die Kapelle für seine Treffen. Jahrhunderts erlosch die Bruderschaft, als der letzte der Büßer starb. Nach einer Crowdfunding-Kampagne und der Beteiligung des Departements wurden einige der im Gebäude befindlichen Gemälde restauriert.

Dit godshuis was de thuisbasis van de Confrérie des Pénitents Blancs, opgericht in 1637 om tegenwicht te bieden aan de protestantse invloed; tijdens de Revolutie hield een politieke club er zijn bijeenkomsten. Aan het begin van de 20e eeuw stierf de Confrérie uit met de dood van de laatste van de Penitenten. Na een crowdfundingcampagne en de deelname van het departement zijn enkele van de schilderijen in het gebouw gerestaureerd, en werkzaamheden om het gebouw droog te maken zullen de reparaties voltooien.

Esta capilla se construyó con la ayuda de suscripciones. La primera piedra se colocó en abril de 1646. Este lugar de culto fue sede de la Cofradía de Penitentes Blancos, fundada en 1637 para contrarrestar la influencia protestante; durante la Revolución, un club político la utilizó para celebrar sus reuniones. A principios del siglo XX, la Cofradía se extinguió al morir el último de los Penitentes. Tras una campaña de crowdfunding y la participación del departamento, se han restaurado algunas de las pinturas del edificio, y las obras de desecación completarán las reparaciones.
