Ancienne Abbaye Bénédictine Royale – Ferrières-en-Gâtinais

Etape incontournable dans cette petite cité de caractère. L'ancienne abbaye royale, fondée par Clovis, dont l’influence s’étendait sur toute l’Europe à l’époque carolingienne, Ferrières-en-Gâtinais a conservé un patrimoine religieux remarquable, un haut lieu de pèlerinage pour les rois de France. Deux édifices classés Monuments Historiques : l’abbatiale Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul du XIIe et XVe siècles attenantes aux bâtiments monastiques (salle capitulaire, ancien réfectoire des moines, chapelle Sainte-Elizabeth, grange aux dîmes) et le sanctuaire Notre-Dame-de-Bethléem du IXe–XVIIe siècles, objet d’un pèlerinage annuel.

Jahrhundert, die an die Klostergebäude (Kapitelsaal, ehemaliges Refektorium der Mönche, Kapelle Sainte-Elizabeth, Zehntscheune) angrenzt, und das Heiligtum Notre-Dame-de-Bethléem aus dem 9. bis 17.

En vooral naar de voet van twee gebouwen die op de lijst van historische monumenten staan: de Abbatiale Saint-Pierre – Saint-Paul (abdijkerk) uit de 12e en 15e eeuw, die aan de monastieke gebouwen (de kapittelzaal, het oude refectorium van de monniken, de kapel Chapelle Ste Elizabeth, de tiendschuur) grenst, en het Sanctuaire Notre-Dame-de-Bethléem (heiligdom) uit de 9e-17e eeuw, dat elk jaar het toneel is van een bedevaart.
