Aurore D%E9on explores what is at stake when we tell a story; with meticulous care, she dissects the mechanisms of domination that creep in between the words, shedding light onthe dehumanization hidden behind a simple allusion. With admirable poetic flair, she reveals the strategies of resistance nestled at the heart of both personal narratives and the broader course of history. Inspired by spoken word—musical and socially engaged poetry— this central text sets in motion a soundscape, a luminous architecture, and a historical, political, and intergenerational cosmology—one in which we must accept the darkness in order to move forward together with clarity. The CDN and other venues in the Greater Nancy area are partnering with ViVES, a festival of feminist creations organized by the La Mue/tte theater company. Online ticket sales.
