SYMPOSIUM DE SCULPTURES – 15-07-2025 – Saint-Brevin-les-Pins

Le symposium, c’est un moment privilégié de rencontres avec des sculpteurs. C’est également un temps de performance artistique, physique et technique pour 4 artistes sélectionnés qui doivent produire une pièce unique en 10 jours, sous les yeux du public. Bois et métal sont à nouveau au rendez-vous de ce 5ème symposium mais les démarches artistiques sont toutes singulières et spectaculaires. Les sculpteurs 2025 performeront sur le thème de la pratique sportive et du corps dans le sport. Les 4 œuvres créées resteront visibles sur le site du village des sports pendant une semaine puis seront exposées au Parc du Pointeau jusqu’à l’été 2026.   Clôture le Mercredi 16 juillet à 18h : on dévoile les sculptures, on partage un verre. C’est public, c’est joyeux et c’est gratuit.   —   Nos invités 2025 :   Christophe Le Baquer Il a exercé plusieurs métiers en Bretagne avant de se consacrer pleinement à la création. À 27 ans, il intègre les Beaux-Arts de Brest, et ne cesse depuis de dessiner, peindre, sculpter, écrire et monter des installations. Christophe se présente comme un artiste de la frontière, il aime explorer ce qui est « à la limite de… ». Légères, humoristiques ou engagées, ses œuvres vibrent entre réalité et imaginaire.   Line Bourdoiseau Depuis l’enfance la nantaise Line Bourdoiseau est animée par les interventions dans l’espace public au travers d’univers colorés et dynamiques. Elle investit la rue en questionnant la place de chacun, replaçant l’humain au coeur de ses réflexions. Elle s’engage pour la préservation du climat et aime créer ses oeuvres à partir de matériel de récupération, qu’elle anime à coups de scie et de pinceau avec de la peinture végétale.     SABéPAT Depuis 2016, SABéPAT, duo d’artistes plasticiens de Loire-Atlantique, transforment l’espace public en lieu d’expression artistique.   Convaincus que chaque lieu a une histoire à raconter, ils considèrent le territoire comme une source d’inspiration et une archive vivante, révélant des récits invisibles façonnés par le temps et l’expérience humaine. Travaillant particulièrement l’acier, ils ont à cœur de restituer quelque chose à ces territoires d’accueil.   Stéphane Terret Menuisier de métier, Stéphane Terret s’est spécialisé dans la sculpture animalière, reflet de sa passion pour le monde organique et de son observation aigüe de la nature. Installé dans la Creuse, il sculpte le bois, cherche à insuffler la vie dans cette matière statique, à créer l’émotion, le mouvement là où l’inertie est de mise.   Cet événement est soutenu par la Société des Auteurs des arts visuels et de l’Image Fixe (SAIF).       Cet événement  est organisé dans le cadre de la programmation Le Bruit Des Dunes, un mélange d’art visuel et de spectacles en extérieur, une programmation municipale dense, éclectique et accessible à tous avec un grand nombre d’événements gratuits. 

The symposium is a privileged opportunity to meet sculptors. It is also a time of artistic, physical and technical performance for 4 selected artists, who have to produce a unique piece in 10 days, in front of the public. Wood and metal are once again on the agenda for this 5th symposium, but the artistic approaches are all singular and spectacular. The 2025 sculptors will perform on the theme of sport and the body in sport. The 4 works created will remain visible on the sports village site for a week, and will then be exhibited in the Parc du Pointeau until summer 2026. Closing on Wednesday, July 16 at 6pm: the sculptures are unveiled, and a drink is shared. It?s public, it?s fun and it?s free. ? Our guests 2025 : Christophe Le Baquer Christophe Le Baquer worked in a number of trades in Brittany before devoting himself fully to creation. At the age of 27, he entered the Beaux-Arts in Brest, and has been drawing, painting, sculpting, writing and creating installations ever since. Christophe describes himself as a frontier artist, who likes to explore what's "on the edge of…". Light-hearted, humorous or committed, his works vibrate between reality and the imaginary. Line Bourdoiseau Ever since she was a child, Nantes-based Line Bourdoiseau has been inspired by her colorful and dynamic interventions in public spaces. She takes to the streets, questioning the place of each individual and placing the human being at the heart of her reflections. Committed to the preservation of the climate, she likes to create her works from recycled materials, which she animates with saws and brushes of plant-based paint. SABéPAT Since 2016, SABéPAT, a duo of visual artists from Loire-Atlantique, have been transforming public space into a place for artistic expression. Convinced that every place has a story to tell, they see the territory as a source of inspiration and a living archive, revealing invisible narratives shaped by time and human experience. Working particularly in steel, they are committed to restoring something of these host territories. Stéphane Terret A carpenter by trade, Stéphane Terret specializes in animal sculpture, reflecting his passion for the organic world and his keen observation of nature. Based in the Creuse region of France, he sculpts wood, seeking to breathe life into this static material, to create emotion and movement where inertia is the order of the day. This event is supported by the Société des Auteurs des arts visuels et de l?Image Fixe (SAIF). This event is organized as part of the Le Bruit Des Dunes program, a mix of visual art and outdoor shows, a dense, eclectic municipal program accessible to all, with a large number of free events of free events.

Das Symposium ist ein besonderer Moment der Begegnung mit Bildhauern. Sie besetzt die Straße, indem sie den Platz jedes Einzelnen in Frage stellt und den Menschen wieder in den Mittelpunkt ihrer Überlegungen stellt. Sie engagiert sich für den Klimaschutz und schafft ihre Werke gerne aus Altmaterial, das sie mit Sägen und Pinseln und Pflanzenfarben zum Leben erweckt. SABéPAT Seit 2016 verwandeln SABéPAT, ein Duo von bildenden Künstlern aus Loire-Atlantique, den öffentlichen Raum in einen Ort des künstlerischen Ausdrucks. Sie sind davon überzeugt, dass jeder Ort eine Geschichte zu erzählen hat, und betrachten die Gegend als Inspirationsquelle und lebendiges Archiv, das unsichtbare, von der Zeit und der menschlichen Erfahrung geprägte Geschichten enthüllt. Er ist in der Creuse ansässig, wo er Holz schnitzt und versucht, diesem statischen Material Leben einzuhauchen.
