"Nos ancêtres ont domestiqué le feu il y a 400 000 ans environ. C’est une grande étape dans l’histoire de l’humanité. Le feu a permis le chauffage et aussi de cuire la nourriture, de fabriquer des outils, de se défendre, et d’éclairer les cavernes et les sous-sols. Les premières traces de dessin sont apparues. Pourquoi ce geste ? D’où vient cette pulsion ou envie ? Les raisons sont certainement multiples. Dans tous les cas une parole est posée, une écriture est née. Une transmission, une communication, un art. La série de dessins et de peintures « Oratio Scriptura » est certainement un retour à une approche de création ancestrale. Il ne s’agit pas de peinture rupestre. Il s’agit d’une approche de création, intuitive et libre, la même qu’on retrouve dans toutes les époques de l’histoire de l’art. Dans ma peinture cette intuition est guidée par une succession de formes abstraites, un enchaînement d’éléments de valeurs plastiques dans un espace défini et choisi, sans narration. La création d’une forme invite systématiquement une autre et crée une troisième, une couleur parle à une autre et forme une communication. C’est une parole sans mots lisibles par tous. Un trait, un point, un cercle ou des hachures, une courbe ou encore un trait et un point… une composition. Une composition construite par le conscient et le subconscient, un environnement et un temps, une réception et une perception, un état physique et psychique. "Our ancestors domesticated fire around 400,000 years ago. This is a major milestone in human history. Fire enabled us to heat our homes, cook our food, make tools, defend ourselves and light our caves and basements. The first traces of drawing appeared. Why this gesture? Where does this impulse or desire come from? There are certainly many reasons. In every case, a word is spoken, a writing is born. A transmission, a communication, an art. The "Oratio Scriptura" series of drawings and paintings is certainly a return to an ancestral approach to creation. This is not rock painting. It's about a free, intuitive approach to creation, the same as we find in all periods of art history. In my painting, this intuition is guided by a succession of abstract forms, a sequence of elements with plastic values in a defined, chosen space, without narrative. The creation of one form systematically invites another and creates a third, one color speaks to another and forms a communication. It's a speech without words that everyone can read. A line, a dot, a circle or hatchings, a curve or a line and a dot? a composition. A composition constructed by the conscious and the subconscious, an environment and a time, a reception and a perception, a physical and psychic state. "Unsere Vorfahren haben das Feuer vor etwa 400 000 Jahren domestiziert. Das war ein großer Schritt in der Geschichte der Menschheit. Das Feuer diente zum Heizen, aber auch zum Kochen von Nahrung, zur Herstellung von Werkzeugen, zur Verteidigung und zur Beleuchtung von Höhlen und Kellern. Die ersten Spuren von Zeichnungen tauchten auf. Was ist der Grund für diese Geste? Woher kommt dieser Impuls oder dieses Verlangen? Die Gründe sind sicherlich vielfältig. In jedem Fall wird ein Wort gesprochen, eine Schrift entsteht. Eine Übertragung, eine Kommunikation, eine Kunst. Die Serie von Zeichnungen und Gemälden "Oratio Scriptura" ist sicherlich eine Rückkehr zu einem althergebrachten Gestaltungsansatz. Es handelt sich nicht um Höhlenmalerei. Es handelt sich um einen intuitiven und freien Gestaltungsansatz, den man in allen Epochen der Kunstgeschichte findet. In meiner Malerei wird diese Intuition von einer Abfolge abstrakter Formen geleitet, einer Aneinanderreihung von Elementen mit plastischen Werten in einem definierten und ausgewählten Raum, ohne Erzählung. Die Schaffung einer Form lädt systematisch eine andere ein und schafft eine dritte, eine Farbe spricht zu einer anderen und bildet eine Kommunikation. Es ist ein Wort ohne Worte, die für alle lesbar sind. Ein Strich, ein Punkt, ein Kreis oder eine Schraffur, eine Kurve oder auch ein Strich und ein Punkt? eine Komposition. Eine Komposition, die durch das Bewusstsein und das Unterbewusstsein, eine Umgebung und eine Zeit, eine Aufnahme und eine Wahrnehmung, einen physischen und einen psychischen Zustand gebildet wird. "Onze voorouders domesticeerden vuur zo'n 400.000 jaar geleden. Dit is een belangrijke mijlpaal in de menselijke geschiedenis. Vuur werd niet alleen gebruikt om te verwarmen, maar ook om voedsel te koken, gereedschap te maken, zich te verdedigen en grotten en kelders te verlichten. De eerste sporen van tekenen verschenen. Waarom dit gebaar? Waar komt deze impuls of dit verlangen vandaan? Er zijn zeker veel redenen. In elk geval wordt er een woord gesproken, een schrift geboren. Een overdracht, een communicatie, een kunst. De serie tekeningen en schilderijen "Oratio Scriptura" is zeker een terugkeer naar een voorouderlijke benadering van creatie. Het is geen kwestie van grotschilderen. Het gaat over een benadering van creatie die intuïtief en vrij is, dezelfde als die in elke periode van de kunstgeschiedenis. In mijn schilderkunst wordt deze intuïtie geleid door een opeenvolging van abstracte vormen, een opeenvolging van elementen met plastische waarden in een gedefinieerde en gekozen ruimte, zonder verhaal. De creatie van een vorm nodigt systematisch een andere uit en creëert een derde, een kleur spreekt tot een andere en vormt een communicatie. Het is een toespraak zonder woorden die iedereen kan lezen. Een lijn, een stip, een cirkel of arceringen, een curve of een lijn en een stip? een compositie. Een compositie opgebouwd uit het bewuste en het onbewuste, een omgeving en een tijd, een ontvangst en een waarneming, een fysieke en psychische toestand. El fuego se utilizaba no sólo para calentarse, sino también para cocinar alimentos, fabricar herramientas, defenderse e iluminar cuevas y sótanos. Aparecieron las primeras huellas del dibujo. ¿Por qué este gesto? ¿De dónde viene este impulso o deseo? Sin duda, hay muchas razones. En todos los casos, se pronuncia una palabra, nace un escrito. Una transmisión, una comunicación, un arte. La serie de dibujos y pinturas "Oratio Scriptura" es sin duda un retorno a un enfoque ancestral de la creación. No se trata de pintura rupestre. Se trata de un enfoque intuitivo y libre de la creación, el mismo que se encuentra en todos los periodos de la historia del arte. En mi pintura, esta intuición se guía por una sucesión de formas abstractas, una secuencia de elementos con valores plásticos en un espacio definido y elegido, sin narrativa. La creación de una forma invita sistemáticamente a otra y crea una tercera, un color habla a otro y forma una comunicación. Es un discurso sin palabras que todo el mundo puede leer. Una línea, un punto, un círculo o tramas, una curva o una línea y un punto… una composición. Una composición construida por el consciente y el subconsciente, un entorno y un tiempo, una recepción y una percepción, un estado físico y psíquico. "I nostri antenati hanno addomesticato il fuoco circa 400.000 anni fa. Si tratta di una pietra miliare nella storia dell'umanità. Il fuoco veniva utilizzato non solo per riscaldare, ma anche per cucinare il cibo, costruire utensili, difendersi e illuminare grotte e scantinati. Sono apparse le prime tracce di disegno. Perché questo gesto? Da dove nasce questo impulso o desiderio? Le ragioni sono certamente molteplici. In ogni caso, viene pronunciata una parola, nasce una scrittura. Una trasmissione, una comunicazione, un'arte. La serie di disegni e dipinti "Oratio Scriptura" è certamente un ritorno a un approccio ancestrale alla creazione. Non si tratta di pittura rupestre. Si tratta di un approccio alla creazione intuitivo e libero, lo stesso che si ritrova in ogni periodo della storia dell'arte. Nella mia pittura, questa intuizione è guidata da una successione di forme astratte, una sequenza di elementi con valori plastici in uno spazio definito e scelto, senza narrazione. La creazione di una forma ne invita sistematicamente un'altra e ne crea una terza, un colore parla a un altro e forma una comunicazione. È un discorso senza parole che tutti possono leggere. Una linea, un punto, un cerchio o un tratteggio, una curva o una linea e un punto? Una composizione. Una composizione costruita dal conscio e dal subconscio, da un ambiente e da un tempo, da una ricezione e da una percezione, da uno stato fisico e psichico.
