Nadir est un chanteur qui puise ses inspirations des deux rives de la méditerranée. Il a baigné dans l’héritage de la musique andalouse, depuis sa tendre enfance à Tlemcen, durant laquelle il est initié tôt à la musique andalouse. Il a ensuite été bercé par les chants chauds du raï oranais, et au rythme des Gnawas. Il parcourt donc les styles, de l’acidité de la guitare folk, au groove transant de la musique saharienne, ou encore à travers ce cachet hispano-maghrébin qui caractérise l’essence de ses influences. Car c’est à Oran, ville au fort accent espagnol, que Nadir puise ses inspirations et chante avec tendresse le romantisme et la poésie de la vie nord-africaine, en réponse aux tourments ayant jalonné l’histoire de la rive sud de la méditerranée. Aujourd’hui, influencé par le groove du jazz, blues, reggae, c’est depuis Marseille, ville éminemment cosmopolite, qu’il s’épanouit et présente son prochain album folk, intitulé Maturity. «Maturity», traduit «Al Roshd» en arabe, est le premier album de Nadir Ben. 9 titres dans un style Folk Pop du Maghreb, qui séduit par sa voix et où il se révèle avec authenticité, en abordant les thèmes de l’appartenance, de l’engagement, de l’identité et de l’héritage, avec sensibilité et poésie, comme clin d’oeil à la tradition arabo-andalouse, sur des textes intuitifs, tous chantés en arabe.

Nadir is a singer who draws his inspiration from both sides of the Mediterranean. He has been immersed in the heritage of Andalusian music since his early childhood in Tlemcen. He was then rocked by the warm songs of Oranese raï, and the rhythm of the Gnawas. So he travels through styles, from the acidity of folk guitar to the driving groove of Saharan music, or through the Hispano-Maghrebian cachet that characterizes the essence of his influences. For it is in Oran, a city with a strong Spanish accent, that Nadir draws his inspiration and sings with tenderness of the romanticism and poetry of North African life, in response to the torments that have marked the history of the southern shore of the Mediterranean. Today, influenced by the groove of jazz, blues and reggae, it is from Marseille, an eminently cosmopolitan city, that he blossoms and presents his next folk album, entitled Maturity. "Maturity", translated as "Al Roshd" in Arabic, is Nadir Ben?s debut album. 9 tracks in a Maghreb Folk Pop style, which seduces with its voice and where it reveals itself with authenticity, tackling the themes of belonging, commitment, identity and heritage, with sensitivity and poetry, as a nod to the Arabo-Andalusian tradition, on intuitive lyrics, all sung in Arabic.

Nadir ist ein Sänger, der seine Inspirationen von beiden Seiten des Mittelmeers schöpft. Seit seiner frühen Kindheit in Tlemcen, in der er früh in die andalusische Musik eingeführt wurde, war er in das Erbe der andalusischen Musik eingebettet. Später wurde er von den warmen Gesängen des Raï aus Oranien und dem Rhythmus der Gnawas in den Schlaf gewiegt. So wandert er durch die Stile, von der Säure der Folkgitarre über den transanten Groove der Saharamusik bis hin zu dem spanisch-maghrebinischen Stempel, der die Essenz seiner Einflüsse kennzeichnet. In Oran, einer Stadt mit starkem spanischen Akzent, schöpft Nadir seine Inspirationen und singt mit Zärtlichkeit von der Romantik und Poesie des nordafrikanischen Lebens als Antwort auf die Wirren der Geschichte des südlichen Mittelmeerraums. Heute, beeinflusst vom Groove des Jazz, Blues und Reggae, blüht er in der kosmopolitischen Stadt Marseille auf und präsentiert sein nächstes Folk-Album mit dem Titel Maturity. "Maturity", auf Arabisch "Al Roshd", ist das Debütalbum von Nadir Ben. 9 Titel in einem Maghreb-Folk-Pop-Stil, der durch seine Stimme besticht und in dem er sich authentisch offenbart, indem er die Themen Zugehörigkeit, Engagement, Identität und Erbe mit Sensibilität und Poesie behandelt, als Anspielung auf die arabisch-andalusische Tradition, zu intuitiven Texten, die alle auf Arabisch gesungen werden.

Nadir is een zanger die zijn inspiratie haalt uit beide kanten van de Middellandse Zee. Sinds zijn vroege jeugd in Tlemcen is hij ondergedompeld in het erfgoed van de Andalusische muziek. Daarna werd hij opgeschrikt door de warme liederen van de Oranese raï en het ritme van de Gnawa's.
