Ce festival se déroule en deux éditions annuelles, au printemps : La Déferlante de Printemps et en été : La Déferlante ; et vous propose une multitude de spectacles à ciel ouvert. Au programme de ce festival : humour, théâtre, danse, marionnettes, cirque, concerts… C'est la fête dans les rues du littoral ! C'est gratuit et tout public. Théâtre par la cie Mmm… Marie-Magdeleine, débarque au « G.R.A.I.N. (Groupe de Réhabilitation Après un Internement ou N'importe), où elle tentera d'animer un stage de théâtre le temps d'une folle journée… Dès son arrivée, elle se trouve plongée dans le bain, accueillie par Sophie, la responsable qui lui présente le lieu et les particularités de chacun des patients. Une farce sur la représentation de la folie et la folie de la représentation où il sera peu ou prou question de Schumann, Van Gogh, Marilyn, Batman et des troubles du comportement. Une comédienne pour huit personnages ! La comédienne Marie-Magdeleine, dont le personnage principal porte le même nom, réalise en une heure trente une performance digne des plus grands.
