JOUIR est le récit d’une femme en quête d’orgasme. Pour raconter son histoire, elle est accompagnée de femmes et d’hommes, de corps dansants, d’émancipation érotique et de musique. En revisitant le Comedy club ainsi que le genre du documentaire théâtral et du cabaret musical, JOUIR est une invitation à se poser collectivement la question du désir et de la jouissance : Pourquoi existe-t-il un écart orgasmique ? Quels modèles de plaisir existent-t-ils et pouvons-nous (ré)inventer ? Comment pouvons-nous en parler autour de nous ? Et surtout, est-ce si important de jouir ?

JOUIR is the story of a woman in search of orgasm. To tell her story, she is accompanied by men and women, dancing bodies, erotic emancipation and music. By revisiting the comedy club as well as the theatrical documentary and musical cabaret genres, JOUIR is an invitation to collectively ask the question of desire and enjoyment: Why is there an orgasmic gap? What models of pleasure exist and can we (re)invent? How can we talk about this to those around us? And above all, is it really that important to come?

JOUIR ist die Erzählung einer Frau auf der Suche nach einem Orgasmus. Um ihre Geschichte zu erzählen, wird sie von Frauen und Männern, tanzenden Körpern, erotischer Emanzipation und Musik begleitet. JOUIR, das den Comedy Club, das Genre des theatralischen Dokumentarfilms und des Musikkabaretts aufgreift, ist eine Einladung, sich kollektiv die Frage nach Lust und Genuss zu stellen: Warum gibt es eine orgasmische Diskrepanz? Welche Modelle der Lust gibt es und können wir sie (neu) erfinden? Wie können wir in unserem Umfeld darüber sprechen? Und vor allem: Ist es so wichtig, zu kommen?

JOUIR is het verhaal van een vrouw op zoek naar een orgasme. Om haar verhaal te vertellen wordt ze vergezeld door vrouwen en mannen, dansende lichamen, erotische emancipatie en muziek. Door zowel de comedy club als de theatrale documentaire en muzikale cabaretgenres opnieuw te bekijken, is JOUIR een uitnodiging om verlangen en genot collectief te bevragen: Waarom is er een orgasmekloof? Welke modellen van genot bestaan er en kunnen we (her)uitvinden? Hoe kunnen we hierover praten met onze omgeving? En vooral, is het echt zo belangrijk om klaar te komen?

Al revisitar el club de la comedia, así como los géneros del documental teatral y el cabaret musical, JOUIR es una invitación a cuestionar colectivamente el deseo y el disfrute: ¿Por qué existe una brecha orgásmica? ¿Qué modelos de placer existen y podemos (re)inventar? ¿Cómo podemos hablar de esto a los que nos rodean? Y, sobre todo, ¿es realmente tan importante correrse?

Rivisitando i generi del comedy club, del documentario teatrale e del cabaret musicale, JOUIR è un invito a interrogarsi collettivamente sul desiderio e sul piacere: perché esiste un divario orgasmico? Quali modelli di piacere esistono e possiamo (ri)inventare? Come possiamo parlarne con chi ci circonda? E soprattutto, è davvero così importante venire?
