À l’occasion de la Saison du Centenaire Fayet, l'Abbaye de Fontfroide propose une immersion artistique au cœur de son site et de son massif environnant. Cette exposition met en lumière une sélection d'œuvres inspirées du symbolisme, réalisées par Gustave Fayet sur le vif. À travers ces dessins, l’architecture et la nature s’animent dans une harmonie subtile entre figuration et abstraction. Les jeux de couleurs et la fluidité du pinceau estompent les contours pour laisser place à une vision poétique du paysage. Une trentaine de reproductions grand format, installées à l'endroit même de leur création, offriront aux visiteurs une nouvelle manière d’appréhender Fontfroide dans l’œil de Gustave Fayet. Exposition accessible lors de la visite de l’abbaye.

On the occasion of the Fayet Centenary Season, Fontfroide Abbey offers an artistic immersion into the heart of its site and surrounding mountains. The exhibition highlights a selection of works inspired by Symbolism, created by Gustave Fayet on the spot. In these drawings, architecture and nature come to life in a subtle harmony between figuration and abstraction. The play of color and the fluidity of the brush blur the contours, giving way to a poetic vision of the landscape. Some thirty large-format reproductions, installed in the very places where they were created, offer visitors a new way of seeing Fontfroide through the eyes of Gustave Fayet. The exhibition is open to all visitors to the abbey.

Anlässlich der Fayet-Jahrhundertsaison bietet die Abtei von Fontfroide eine künstlerische Reise durch die Abtei und das umliegende Massiv an. Die Ausstellung zeigt eine Auswahl von Werken, die vom Symbolismus inspiriert sind und von Gustave Fayet aus dem Leben gegriffen wurden. In diesen Zeichnungen werden die Architektur und die Natur in einer subtilen Harmonie zwischen Figuration und Abstraktion zum Leben erweckt. Das Spiel der Farben und die fließenden Pinselstriche verwischen die Konturen, um einer poetischen Vision der Landschaft Platz zu machen. Etwa dreißig großformatige Reproduktionen, die am Ort ihrer Entstehung aufgestellt werden, bieten den Besuchern eine neue Art, Fontfroide im Auge Gustave Fayets zu sehen. Die Ausstellung ist während des Besuchs der Abtei zugänglich.

Ter gelegenheid van het Eeuwfeest van Fayet biedt de Abdij van Fontfroide een artistieke onderdompeling in het hart van haar site en de omliggende bergen. Deze tentoonstelling belicht een selectie van werken geïnspireerd door symbolisme, ter plaatse geschilderd door Gustave Fayet. In deze tekeningen komen architectuur en natuur tot leven in een subtiele harmonie tussen figuratie en abstractie. Het spel van kleuren en de vloeiendheid van het penseel vervagen de contouren en maken plaats voor een poëtische visie op het landschap. Een dertigtal reproducties op groot formaat, geïnstalleerd op de plek waar ze gemaakt zijn, bieden bezoekers een nieuwe kijk op Fontfroide door de ogen van Gustave Fayet. De tentoonstelling kan worden bekeken tijdens een bezoek aan de abdij.

Esta exposición pone de relieve una selección de obras inspiradas en el simbolismo, pintadas por Gustave Fayet in situ. En estos dibujos, la arquitectura y la naturaleza cobran vida en una sutil armonía entre figuración y abstracción. El juego de colores y la fluidez del pincel difuminan los contornos, dando paso a una visión poética del paisaje. Una treintena de reproducciones de gran formato, instaladas en el mismo lugar donde fueron creadas, ofrecerán a los visitantes una nueva forma de ver Fontfroide a través de los ojos de Gustave Fayet. La exposición podrá visitarse durante la visita a la abadía.
