Exposition "Objectif’s Trad" – 19-08-2025 – Guingamp

Dans le cadre du Festival de la Saint-Loup qui a lieu à Guingamp, du 22 au 24 août. Photographier une autre Bretagne en portant un regard pleinement contemporain sur les arts populaires et l’identité bretonne telle est la vocation d’Objectif Trad. Alors qu’elle a toujours été à la pointe de l’innovation, que sa vie culturelle bouillonne, la Bretagne conserve de temps à autres une image figée, parfois réductrice voire archaïque, liée à son souci permanent de conserver les traditions et les particularismes. L’idée de cette exposition est de court-circuiter l’effet folklorisant, la connotation «vieux». Ne pas hésiter donc à casser certains codes, à faire voler en éclat certains clichés pour révéler «La Bretagne là où on ne l’attend pas» en tâchant de répondre au points-clefs du territoire de marque «Bretagne».

As part of the Festival de la Saint-Loup in Guingamp, August 22-24. Objectif Trad?s mission is to photograph a different Brittany, with a fully contemporary take on popular arts and Breton identity. Although Brittany has always been at the forefront of innovation, with a vibrant cultural life, it sometimes retains a fixed, sometimes reductive or even archaic image, linked to its constant concern to preserve traditions and particularisms. The idea of this exhibition is to short-circuit the folklorizing effect, the "old" connotation. The idea is not to hesitate to break certain codes, to shatter certain clichés, to reveal "Brittany where it is not expected", in an attempt to respond to the key points of the "Brittany" brand territory.

Im Rahmen des Saint-Loup-Festivals, das vom 22. bis 24. August in Guingamp stattfindet. Das Ziel von Objectif Trad ist es, eine andere Bretagne zu fotografieren und dabei einen zeitgenössischen Blick auf die Volkskunst und die bretonische Identität zu werfen. Obwohl die Bretagne immer an der Spitze der Innovation stand und ihr kulturelles Leben brodelt, bewahrt sie von Zeit zu Zeit ein festgefahrenes, manchmal reduziertes oder gar archaisches Bild, das auf ihr ständiges Bestreben zurückzuführen ist, Traditionen und Besonderheiten zu bewahren. Die Idee dieser Ausstellung ist es, die folklorisierende Wirkung und die Konnotation "alt" kurzzuschließen. Die Bretagne ist dort, wo man sie nicht erwartet, und versucht, die Schlüsselpunkte der Marke "Bretagne" zu erfüllen.

De missie van Objectif Trad is om een ander Bretagne te fotograferen, met een volledig eigentijdse kijk op de volkskunsten en de Bretonse identiteit. Hoewel Bretagne altijd voorop heeft gelopen op het gebied van innovatie, met een bruisend cultureel leven, behoudt het soms een vast, soms simplistisch of zelfs archaïsch beeld, gekoppeld aan de constante zorg om tradities en bijzonderheden te behouden. Het idee van deze tentoonstelling is om het folkloristische effect, de "oude" connotatie kort te sluiten. Aarzel dus niet om bepaalde codes te doorbreken, bepaalde clichés te verbrijzelen om "Bretagne waar je het het minst verwacht" te onthullen door te proberen te reageren op de kernpunten van het merkgebied "Bretagne".

La missione di Objectif Trad è quella di fotografare una Bretagna diversa, con uno sguardo pienamente contemporaneo sulle arti popolari e sull'identità bretone. Sebbene la Bretagna sia sempre stata all'avanguardia, con una vita culturale vibrante, a volte conserva un'immagine fissa, talvolta semplicistica o addirittura arcaica, legata alla costante preoccupazione di preservare tradizioni e particolarità. L'idea di questa mostra è di mettere in cortocircuito l'effetto folkloristico, la connotazione "vecchia". Non esitate quindi a rompere certi codici, a infrangere certi luoghi comuni per rivelare "la Bretagna dove meno ve l'aspettate" cercando di rispondere ai punti chiave del territorio del marchio "Bretagna".
