Description

In 1992, he bought a penty in Pont l'Abbé. A self-taught painter, always on the lookout for new techniques, he began working leather into his paintings. This was the beginning of a body of work perfected over time. In 2015, he settled permanently in Pont-l'Abbé, allowing him to devote himself to creating leather paintings in his studio, an old penty that he has restored to his image. Graphic designer, painter, graphic tablet virtuoso and color specialist, Julien Turbié wields both brush and stylus. Born in Paris, he is also a Bigouden by heart. As a child, he spent all his vacations in Loctudy, at his grandparents? house, where he has lived for the past three years.
It's here that he paints animated film characters. Chief colorist for the French cartoon Totally Spies, broadcast worldwide, this former coordinator with Samu Social in Montrouge, is happy to trade in his graphics tablet for his cartoon heroes, making La Bigoudène his new muse.
