Á l’occasion du cinquantième anniversaire de la création du secteur sauvegardé de Nancy, appelé aujourd’hui « site patrimonial remarquable », la Ville de Nancy et la Région Grand Est sont heureuses d’annoncer la parution de l’ouvrage Nancy. Site patrimonial remarquable aux éditions Libel. Cet ouvrage de référence rend compte de la vaste étude menée durant près de dix ans par les chercheurs du service régional de l’Inventaire et de la Ville de Nancy pour approfondir la connaissance du patrimoine bâti du centre historique de Nancy. Riche d’informations inédites et abondamment illustré, il révèle ce patrimoine dans toute son étendue, du plus connu, souvent protégé au titre des Monuments historiques, au plus « ordinaire », patrimoine du quotidien, témoin visible et vivant du passé de la ville. Trois grandes thématiques sont abordées : la présence militaire, aujourd’hui moins prégnante mais qui a largement contribué à façonner la ville, les institutions religieuses du Moyen Âge au XIXe siècle avec un accent mis sur la présence monastique, et enfin l’habitat, sujet nourri par plus de deux mille édifices ou vestiges conservés, construits entre le XVIe et le XVIIIe siècle. Afin de découvrir cet ouvrage, nous vous donnons rendez-vous à l’auditorium du musée des Beaux-Arts (entrée par la rue Gustave Simon) pour une conférence-présentation par les auteurs, Yann Vaxelaire et Martine Tronquart. On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the creation of Nancy?s safeguarded area, now known as a "remarkable heritage site", the City of Nancy and the Grand Est Region are pleased to announce the publication of the book Nancy. Site patrimonial remarquable, published by Libel. This reference work reports on the extensive study carried out over a period of almost ten years by researchers from the Regional Inventory Department and the City of Nancy to gain a deeper understanding of the built heritage of Nancy?s historic center. Packed with previously unpublished information and abundantly illustrated, it reveals this heritage in all its breadth, from the best-known, often protected as Historic Monuments, to the most "ordinary", everyday heritage, a visible and living witness to the city?s past. Three main themes are covered: the military presence, which is less prominent today, but which played a major role in shaping the town; religious institutions from the Middle Ages to the 19th century, with particular emphasis on the monastic presence; and finally, housing, the subject of more than two thousand preserved buildings or remains, built between the 16th and 18th centuries. Ánlässlich des 50. Jahrestags der Gründung des geschützten Sektors von Nancy, der heute als "site patrimonial remarquable" bezeichnet wird, freuen sich die Stadt Nancy und die Region Grand Est, das Erscheinen des Buches Nancy. Site patrimonial remarquable" im Verlag Libel bekannt zu geben. Dieses Nachschlagewerk dokumentiert die umfangreiche Studie, die fast zehn Jahre lang von den Forschern der regionalen Inventarabteilung und der Stadt Nancy durchgeführt wurde, um die Kenntnisse über das bauliche Erbe des historischen Zentrums von Nancy zu vertiefen. Esta obra de referencia es el resultado de un estudio exhaustivo realizado durante casi diez años por investigadores de la Dirección Regional del Inventario y del Ayuntamiento de Nancy para profundizar en el conocimiento del patrimonio construido del centro histórico de Nancy. Repleto de información inédita y profusamente ilustrado, este libro permite descubrir la totalidad de este patrimonio, desde el más conocido, a menudo protegido como Monumento Histórico, hasta el más "ordinario", el patrimonio cotidiano, testigo visible y vivo del pasado de la ciudad.
