Pendant plus de trente cinq ans la vie affective de Giono a été cachée et, pour ce faire, des mensonges ont souvent été proférés ; qui plus est, cela continue encore aujourd’hui. La vérité mérite d’être connue pour mieux comprendre l’attitude de cet auteur de génie, et pour mieux analyser son œuvre, tant politique que romanesque. For more than thirty-five years, Giono?s emotional life was concealed, and lies were often told in order to do so; moreover, this continues to this day. The truth deserves to be known, to better understand the attitude of this author of genius, and to better analyze his work, both political and novelistic. His successive mistresses often played an essential role that deserves to be revealed, including during the Second World War, when his actions attracted justified criticism. This is the theme of the conference.

Mehr als 35 Jahre lang wurde Gionos Gefühlsleben verheimlicht und dabei oftmals gelogen, was bis heute anhält. Die Wahrheit verdient es, bekannt zu werden, um die Haltung dieses genialen Autors besser zu verstehen und sein Werk, sowohl das politische als auch das romantische, besser zu analysieren. Seine Geliebten spielten oft eine wichtige Rolle, die es zu enthüllen gilt, auch während des Zweiten Weltkriegs, in dem seine Handlungen berechtigte Kritik hervorriefen. De waarheid verdient bekend te worden als we de houding van deze geniale auteur beter willen begrijpen en zijn werk, zowel politiek als romanesk, beter willen analyseren. Zijn opeenvolgende minnaressen speelden vaak een essentiële rol die het verdient onthuld te worden, ook tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog, toen zijn daden terechte kritiek opriepen.
