Co-fondateur du groupe Téléphone, avec qui il a eu le succès qu’on lui connaît, Louis Bertignac commence une carrière solo en 1986, puis fera de nombreuses rencontres et collaborations musicales, entre autres, avec Carla Bruni ou Joyce Jonathan… Guitariste hors-pair et auteur émérite, il est nommé Chevalier à l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres en 2011. En 2012, il fait la première partie de Johnny Hallyday, notamment devant 80.000 personnes au Stade de France, et arrive dans le jury de The Voice sur TF1. De 2015 à 2017, il retrouve ses amis de toujours Jean-Louis Aubert et Richard Kolinka pour faire la tournée des Insus, et rejouer leurs tubes du temps de Téléphone. En 2022, il sort une bibliographie intitulée "Jolie petite histoire", clin d’œil à sa chanson "Cendrillon". 2023 marque la sortie de son nouvel album "Dans le film de ma vie", et son retour sur la scène.
