Chaque année, au cours du dernier weekend du mois d’août, vivez à l’Abbaye de Marmoutier deux jours de reconstitution historique. Durant ce weekend familial, le site se couvre de campements de soldats romains, gaulois et germains, et vous invite à découvrir la vie militaire et civile (démonstration de gladiature, de manœuvres militaires…), à participer à des ateliers (tissage, frappe de monnaies, jeux romains…) et à profiter d’un repos bien mérité à la taverne gallo-romaine !

This summer, the ancient world will once again be on the town's doorstep during this weekend event, when the Marmoutier site will once again be covered in Roman, Gallic and Germanic camps. Discover the daily life of the period, from weaving and cooking to minting coins, try your hand at firing the scopio, the formidable artillery weapon of the Roman legions, or learn all about the equipment used by soldiers and gladiators. And take some rest at the Gallo-Roman tavern before witnessing the grand final battle between the Romans and the Germans! New for 2023: in an amplified setting, try your hand at archery and the pilum, the Roman javelin, discover haspartum, the forerunner of rugby, or enjoy the antics of Faunus, god of herds…

Jedes Jahr am letzten Augustwochenende können Sie in der Abtei von Marmoutier zwei Tage lang historische Rekonstruktionen erleben. Während dieses Familienwochenendes wird das Gelände mit Lagern römischer, gallischer und germanischer Soldaten bedeckt und lädt Sie ein, das militärische und zivile Leben zu entdecken (Vorführung von Gladiatur, Militärmanövern usw.), an Workshops teilzunehmen (Weben, Münzprägung, römische Spiele usw.) und eine wohlverdiente Pause in der gallorömischen Taverne zu genießen!

Elk jaar, tijdens het laatste weekend van augustus, organiseert de Abdij van Marmoutier twee dagen van historische re-enactment. Tijdens dit gezinsvriendelijke weekend is de site overdekt met kampementen van Romeinse, Gallische en Germaanse soldaten, die je uitnodigen om het militaire en burgerlijke leven te ontdekken (gladiatordemonstraties, militaire manoeuvres, enz.), deel te nemen aan workshops (weven, munten slaan, Romeinse spelen, enz.) en te genieten van een welverdiende rust in de Gallo-Romeinse taverne!

Ogni anno, durante l'ultimo fine settimana di agosto, l'Abbazia di Marmoutier ospita due giorni di rievocazione storica. Durante questo fine settimana adatto alle famiglie, il sito è ricoperto da accampamenti di soldati romani, gallici e germanici, che invitano a scoprire la vita militare e civile (dimostrazioni di gladiatori, manovre militari, ecc.), a partecipare a laboratori (tessitura, conio di monete, giochi romani, ecc.) e a godersi un meritato riposo nella taverna gallo-romana!
