Pour son nouvel album studio, Bertrand Belin a choisi d'explorer de nouveaux paysages sonores, de poursuivre et conduire plus loin encore ses recherches, creuser un peu plus son sillon. Le piano, en majesté sur une partie des titres, apporte une grâce supplémentaire au savant dosage électronique / guitare / batterie à l'œuvre dans ses plus récents albums mais présenté sous un nouveau jour. Les cordes viennent ici et là soulever l'harmonie et la voix vers des météos de tout types. Le rapport est toujours de la terre au ciel et inversement. Les thématiques de ce nouvel album sont existentielles, il s'agit de notre place, nos regards, nos déplacements, nos amours, nos attentions, nos élans, nos craintes et questionnements. Bertrand y chante plus encore qu'à l'habitude et sa prose ample offre à son légendaire et paradoxale minimalisme de nouvelles arborescences. Folk ardente et griffes électriques, quand le silence du désert se met à brûler… Si Grand Camino puise ses racines dans la musique folk-rock et l'americana, sur scène, le groupe originaire de Nancy propose de parcourir un sentier musical escarpé allant de la ballade folk psychédélique à un rock autant aride qu'hypnotique.

For his new studio album, Bertrand Belin has chosen to explore new soundscapes, to pursue and take his research even further, to dig a little deeper. The piano, in majesty on some of the tracks, lends an additional grace to the skilful electronic/guitar/drum mix at work on his most recent albums, but presented in a new light. Here and there, the strings lift the harmony and the vocals towards meteos of all kinds. The relationship is always from earth to sky and vice versa. The themes of this new album are existential: our place, our gaze, our movements, our loves, our attentions, our impulses, our fears and questionings. Bertrand sings even more than usual, and his wide-ranging prose gives his legendary, paradoxical minimalism new arborescences. Fiery folk and electric claws, when the silence of the desert begins to burn? Grand Camino's roots may lie in folk-rock and Americana, but on stage, the Nancy-based band propose a steep musical path ranging from psychedelic folk ballads to rock as arid as it is hypnotic.

Für sein neues Studioalbum hat Bertrand Belin beschlossen, neue Klanglandschaften zu erkunden, seine Forschungen fortzusetzen und noch weiter zu treiben, seine Furchen noch tiefer zu graben. Das Klavier, das in einem Teil der Titel im Vordergrund steht, verleiht der gekonnten Mischung aus Elektronik, Gitarre und Schlagzeug, die in seinen jüngsten Alben zum Einsatz kam, eine zusätzliche Anmut, die sich jedoch in einem neuen Licht präsentiert. Die Streicher heben hier und da die Harmonie und die Stimme in Richtung aller Arten von Wetterlagen. Die Beziehung ist immer von der Erde zum Himmel und umgekehrt. Die Themen dieses neuen Albums sind existenziell, es geht um unseren Platz, unsere Blicke, unsere Bewegungen, unsere Liebe, unsere Aufmerksamkeiten, unsere Aufschwünge, unsere Ängste und Fragen.
