Le portrait que Lydie a écrit est émouvant car elle a choisit de saisir un homme habitué aux coups d’éclats dans un moment où il est au repos. Entouré des objets et des paysages qu’il aime, de retour dans son refuge entre deux expéditions rocambolesques, il ne fait presque rien. C’est dans cette manière de faire place au vide qu’Arnaud se révèle dans une intensité inédite. Spectacle inédit : en immersion dans le bar du théâtre, le personnage se raconte en adresse directe avec le public.

The portrait Lydie has written is a moving one, as she has chosen to capture a man accustomed to outbursts at a time when he is at rest. Surrounded by the objects and landscapes he loves, back in his refuge between two adventurous expeditions, he does almost nothing. It is in this way of making room for emptiness that Arnaud reveals himself with an intensity never seen before. A new show: immersed in the theater bar, the character tells his story in direct conversation with the audience.
