La Forêt d'Art Contemporain : La Mule à cinq pattes, oeuvre n°15 – Sore

La Forêt d’Art Contemporain a pour objectif depuis 2009 de créer en milieu rural un véritable outil de production et de diffusion d’art contemporain sous la forme d’un itinéraire régional. Par l’accueil d’artistes en résidence, la présentation de leur travail, la production dans un itinéraire d’œuvres en évolution, ce projet participe pleinement à l’aménagement culturel du territoire du Parc. Avec une trentaine d'œuvres ainsi qu’une dizaine de projets en cours ce chantier engagé par La Forêt d’Art Contemporain met en jeu, au-delà de la construction d’une destination de tourisme de culture, un enrichissement progressif de l’espace de vie quotidien des habitants des Landes.

Programmation : Jean-Francois Dumont Probably time is the main character here: different durations characterize the place, the history of the village embodied in the two pines francs, the movement of the little Leyre, the layout of the path, the gallery forest with its density of vegetation, its collapses and its play of shadows. The bamboo plantation bursts into these rhythms, artificializing the nature of the Landes. It plays the role of exotic scenery. It is the perfect place to welcome another artifice which is that of art: here a polystyrene composition laminated with epoxy resin and covered with resinous bark. In this case the sculpture has the presence of a chimera, an assembly of uncertain shapes under a bark dress. It is a sign of this constant tension between latent enchantment and anxiety.

Programmierung: Jean-Francois Dumont Wahrscheinlich ist die Zeit hier die Hauptfigur: Verschiedene Zeitspannen charakterisieren den Ort, die Geschichte des Dorfes, die in den beiden Kiefern verkörpert ist, die Bewegung des kleinen Flusses Leyre, die Anlage des Weges, der Galeriewald mit seiner Pflanzendichte, seinen Einbrüchen und Schattenspielen. Der Bambushain bricht in diese Rhythmen ein und artifizialisiert die Natur der Landes. Sie spielt dort die Rolle einer exotischen Kulisse. Er eignet sich hervorragend für die Aufnahme eines anderen Kunstwerks, nämlich der Kunst: hier eine Komposition aus Polystyrol, die mit Epoxidharz laminiert und mit Nadelholzrinde bedeckt ist. Programmering: Jean-Francois Dumont De tijd is hier waarschijnlijk de hoofdpersoon: verschillende looptijden kenmerken de plaats, de geschiedenis van het dorp belichaamd in de twee open dennen, de beweging van de kleine Leyre, de ontwikkeling van het pad, het galerijbos met zijn plantdichtheid, zijn instortingen en zijn schaduwspel. Het bamboebos barst uit in deze ritmes, waardoor de natuur van de Landes wordt gekunsteld. Het speelt de rol van een exotisch decor. Het bamboebos is het perfecte decor voor een andere kunstgreep, die van de kunst: in dit geval een compositie van polystyreen gelamineerd met epoxyhars en bedekt met harsachtige schors. Programación: Jean-Francois Dumont El tiempo es probablemente el protagonista aquí: diferentes duraciones caracterizan el lugar, la historia del pueblo encarnada en los dos pinos, el movimiento de la pequeña Leyre, el desarrollo del camino, el bosque de galería con su densidad vegetal, sus derrumbes y su juego de sombras. El bosque de bambúes irrumpe en estos ritmos, artificializando la naturaleza de las Landas. Hace el papel de un escenario exótico. El bosquecillo de bambú es el escenario perfecto para otro artificio, el del arte: en este caso, una composición de poliestireno laminada con resina epoxi y recubierta de corteza resinosa. En este marco, la escultura tiene la presencia de una quimera, un conjunto de formas inciertas bajo un manto de corteza. Es una muestra de esa tensión constante entre el encanto y la ansiedad latent

Dal 2009, l'obiettivo della Forêt d'Art Contemporain è quello di creare un vero e proprio strumento per la produzione e la diffusione dell'arte contemporanea nelle aree rurali, sotto forma di itinerario regionale. Ospitando artisti in residenza, esponendo il loro lavoro e producendo opere in evoluzione nell'ambito di un itinerario, questo progetto partecipa pienamente allo sviluppo culturale del territorio del Parco. Con una trentina di opere esposte e una dozzina di progetti in corso, il progetto intrapreso da La Forêt d'Art Contemporain non si limita a costruire una destinazione turistica culturale, ma arricchisce progressivamente la vita quotidiana degli abitanti della regione delle Landes.
