Annette avait une prédilection pour ce qu’on appelle aujourd’hui les loisirs créatifs jusqu’à la découverte de la calligraphie. Le mot par lui-même exerçait sur elle une certaine fascination : les cahiers de son enfance, la belle écriture … Cinq années d’apprentissage l’ont fait entrer dans le monde magique des calligraphes et des enlumineurs. Elle y a découvert des merveilles, de l’antiquité à nos jours. Puis elle est entrée dans le monde de la création et, petit à petit, elle a découvert la réalité de la calligraphie : l’art de servir sans être esclave.

Annette had a predilection for what we now call creative hobbies, right up to her discovery of calligraphy. The word itself held a certain fascination for her: the notebooks of her childhood, the beautiful handwriting? Five years of apprenticeship brought her into the magical world of calligraphers and illuminators. She discovered marvels from antiquity to the present day. Then she entered the world of creation and, little by little, discovered the reality of calligraphy: the art of serving without being a slave.

Annette hatte eine Vorliebe für das, was man heute als kreative Hobbys bezeichnet, bis sie die Kalligrafie entdeckte. Das Wort selbst übte eine gewisse Faszination auf sie aus: die Hefte ihrer Kindheit, die schöne Handschrift? Fünf Jahre Ausbildung führten sie in die magische Welt der Kalligraphen und Illuminatoren. Dort entdeckte sie Wunderwerke von der Antike bis heute. Dann trat sie in die Welt der Kreation ein und entdeckte nach und nach die Realität der Kalligraphie: die Kunst zu dienen, ohne Sklave zu sein.

Annette had een voorliefde voor wat we nu creatieve hobby's noemen, tot aan haar ontdekking van de kalligrafie. Het woord zelf had een zekere fascinatie voor haar: de schriften uit haar kindertijd, het prachtige handschrift? Vijf jaar in de leer bracht haar in de magische wereld van kalligrafen en verluchters. Daar ontdekte ze wonderen van de oudheid tot nu. Daarna kwam ze terecht in de wereld van de creatie en ontdekte ze beetje bij beetje de realiteit van de kalligrafie: de kunst van het dienen zonder slaaf te zijn.

La palabra en sí misma ejercía cierta fascinación sobre ella: los cuadernos de su infancia, la hermosa caligrafía.. Cinco años de aprendizaje la llevaron al mágico mundo de los calígrafos e iluminadores. Allí descubrió maravillas desde la Antigüedad hasta nuestros días. Luego entró en el mundo de la creación y, poco a poco, descubrió la realidad de la caligrafía: el arte de servir sin ser esclavo.

Annette aveva una predilezione per quelli che oggi chiamiamo hobby creativi, fino alla scoperta della calligrafia. La parola stessa esercitava un certo fascino su di lei: i quaderni della sua infanzia, la bella calligrafia? Cinque anni di apprendistato la portano nel magico mondo dei calligrafi e dei miniatori. Lì ha scoperto meraviglie dall'antichità ai giorni nostri. Poi è entrata nel mondo della creazione e, a poco a poco, ha scoperto la realtà della calligrafia: l'arte di servire senza essere schiavi.
