SENTIER DE DECOUVERTE DE LA SOURCE DE LA MARNE – Saints-Geosmes

En visitant ce lieu, grâce à un court sentier, ponctué de panneaux thématiques, vous aller découvrir les secrets historiques puis géologiques de la source qui est, depuis au moins 2000 ans, considérée comme la source officielle de la Marne. En remontant le temps, depuis la fin du XIXème siècle jusqu'aux temps jurassiques où cette région était recouverte d'une mer chaude et peu profonde, ce parcours illustre les processus qui, petit à petit ont conduit à la formation de la source et des reliefs qui l'entourent.

A short trail, punctuated by thematic panels, will help you discover the historical and geological secrets of the spring, which has been considered the official source of the Marne for at least 2000 years. Going back in time, from the end of the 19th century to Jurassic times when this region was covered by a warm, shallow sea, this trail illustrates the processes that, little by little, led to the formation of the spring and the reliefs that surround it.

Auf einem kurzen Pfad mit thematischen Schildern können Sie die historischen und geologischen Geheimnisse der Quelle entdecken, die seit mindestens 2000 Jahren als offizielle Quelle der Marne gilt. Jahrhunderts bis in die Zeit des Jura, als die Region von einem warmen, flachen Meer bedeckt war, zurückverfolgt.

Tijdens je bezoek ontdek je de historische en geologische geheimen van de bron, die al minstens 2000 jaar wordt beschouwd als de officiële bron van de Marne. Dit parcours gaat terug in de tijd, van het einde van de 19e eeuw tot de Jura, toen deze regio bedekt was door een warme, ondiepe zee, en illustreert de processen die beetje bij beetje hebben geleid tot de vorming van de bron en de landvormen die haar omringen.
