BOUCLE CYCLO N°17 – LES MAGNIFIQUES ROUTES DE FAUGÈRES – Faugères

L’itinéraire vous guide au cœur du vignoble Faugérois, avec son sol schisteux et ses vignes épousant les courbes de niveaux. En chemin vous traversez des villages perchés, gorgés de soleil, qui déroulent leurs ruelles autour d’un château ou d’un donjon médiéval, dans des paysages de vignes, d’amandiers et d’oliviers. Les routes sont magnifiques, peu fréquentées, souvent ombragées notamment jusqu’à Fos… Rien à jeter dans cette boucle qui est un vrai régal pour les yeux, les jambes et les papilles.

The itinerary guides you through the heart of the Faugères vineyards, with their schistose soil and their vines following the contours of the land. On the way, you will pass through sun-drenched hilltop villages with their narrow streets surrounding a castle or a medieval keep, in a landscape of vineyards, almond and olive trees. The roads are magnificent, not very busy, often shaded, especially up to Fos? There is nothing to throw away in this loop which is a real treat for the eyes, the legs and the taste buds.
