Base VTT sud du Perche – De châteaux en étangs par le chemin de César (rouge-33 Km) C5 – Couëtron-au-Perche

Cette boucle VTT alterne les chemins creux bordés de haies bocagères et de « trognes », les sentiers forestiers escarpés, la traversée de gués de ruisseaux et de la rivière le Couëtron, offrant de très beaux panoramas et des espaces propices à l’observation, comme l’étang de Boisvinet, refuge paisible des oiseaux, et ses berges accueillantes et ombragées où la nature qui y règne en maître offre un espace de fraîcheur. Le parcours est enrichi grâce à la présence d’un patrimoine bâti et historique vernaculaire. Château construit en briques et ardoises, église en « grès-roussard » et « grison », ou ancienne verrerie, vestige de l’activité industrielle passée du territoire, sont au rendez-vous.
