Belhade …D’où vient ce nom ? De la large vallée (du gascon « Vath lada ») sur laquelle le château de Belhade a été édifié au XIIIe siècle, ou bien d’une belle fée ( du gascon « bel hade ») qui habitait les lieux. A chacun son histoire ! Ce qui faisait surtout la renommée de cette paroisse c’était sa fontaine connue dans tout le val de Leyre et son arbre au pouvoir de guérison. Bonne balade !
