L’atelier Ficat perpétue une tradition toulousaine de la statuaire en terre cuite. Elle était représentée au 19ème siècle par les architectes et sculpteurs Virebent sur les terres de Launaguet. L’activité consiste à (re)produire en série des œuvres sculpturales à l’aide d’un moule. Tout se fait à la main : L’estampage dans un moule à pièces, le démoulage et les retouches. Statues, vases ornementés, lions, fontaines, cheminées, pièces d’architecture de style 17ème et 19ème siècles sont réalisés dans le respect de la tradition. Les terres roses, rouges ou blanches sont rigoureusement sélectionnées et la cuisson à haute température (1150°) offre des garanties de longévité et résistance au gel.

Atelier Ficat continues a Toulouse tradition of terracotta statuary. It was represented in the 19th century by the architects and sculptors Virebent on Launaguet clay. The business consists in (re)mass-producing sculptural works using a mold. Everything is done by hand: stamping in a mold, demolding and retouching. Statues, ornamented vases, lions, fountains, fireplaces and 17th and 19th-century architectural pieces are created in the traditional manner. Pink, red or white earthenware is rigorously selected, and high temperature firing (1150°) guarantees longevity and frost resistance.

Das Atelier Ficat setzt eine Toulouser Tradition der Terrakotta-Statuen fort. Jahrhundert von den Architekten und Bildhauern Virebent auf dem Land von Launaguet vertreten wurde. Die Tätigkeit besteht in der seriellen (Re-)Produktion von Skulpturen mithilfe einer Form. Alles wird von Hand gemacht: Das Prägen in einer Gussform, das Herauslösen aus der Form und die Nachbearbeitung. Statuen, verzierte Vasen, Löwen, Brunnen, Kamine, Architekturstücke im Stil des 17. und 19. Jahrhunderts werden nach traditioneller Art und Weise hergestellt. Die rosa, rote oder weiße Erde wird streng ausgewählt und das Brennen bei hohen Temperaturen (1150°) bietet Garantien für Langlebigkeit und Frostbeständigkeit.

De werkplaats van Ficat zet een Toulouse traditie van terracotta beeldhouwkunst voort. Deze werd in de 19e eeuw vertegenwoordigd door de architecten en beeldhouwers Virebent op de klei van Launaguet. Het bedrijf houdt zich bezig met de (re)massaproductie van sculpturale werken met behulp van een mal. Alles gebeurt met de hand: stempelen in een mal, ontvormen en retoucheren. Beelden, geornamenteerde vazen, leeuwen, fonteinen, open haarden en 17e en 19e eeuwse architecturale stukken worden allemaal op de traditionele manier gemaakt. De roze, rode en witte terracotta wordt streng geselecteerd en het bakken op hoge temperatuur (1150°C) garandeert een lange levensduur en vorstbestendigheid.

El taller Ficat continúa una tradición tolosana de estatuaria en terracota. Fue representada en el siglo XIX por los arquitectos y escultores Virebent en la arcilla de Launaguet. La actividad consiste en (re)fabricar en serie obras escultóricas utilizando un molde. Todo se hace a mano: estampación en molde, desmoldeo y retoque. Estatuas, jarrones ornamentados, leones, fuentes, chimeneas y piezas arquitectónicas de los siglos XVII y XIX se fabrican a la manera tradicional. La terracota rosa, roja y blanca se selecciona rigurosamente, y la cocción a alta temperatura (1150°C) garantiza la longevidad y la resistencia a las heladas.

Il laboratorio Ficat continua una tradizione tolosana di statuaria in terracotta. Nel XIX secolo è stata rappresentata dagli architetti e scultori Virebent sull'argilla di Launaguet. L'attività consiste nella (ri)produzione in serie di opere scultoree utilizzando uno stampo. Tutto viene fatto a mano: stampaggio in uno stampo, sformatura e ritocco. Statue, vasi ornamentali, leoni, fontane, caminetti e pezzi architettonici del XVII e XIX secolo sono realizzati in modo tradizionale. La terracotta rosa, rossa e bianca è rigorosamente selezionata e la cottura ad alta temperatura (1150°C) garantisce longevità e resistenza al gelo.
