Après un rapide rappel de l’histoire de la médiathèque, vous pourrez découvrir la réserve, ce lieu habituellement fermé au public, dédié à la conservation des documents rares, précieux et anciens. Ce sera l’occasion de présenter un volume de La description de l’Égypte au format “éléphantesque” ! Les architectures de l’Égypte ancienne et de la Rome antique, celles des Mayas et de Gondar en Éthiopie vont côtoyer le style roman, l’architecture thermale et l’art de la fonte en France.
