La restauration du Petit Moulin est terminée, il devient maintenant un lieu d'expositions et de rencontres. Pour donner vie au lieu, Carol Duflot expose ses oeuvres. Carol Duflot, artiste peintre, propose ses paysages envoûtants brossés par des spatules, des pinceaux chargés de matières acryliques et d’encres qui dévorent la toile. Pas de caresses, plutôt des chocs, et soudain, émergent des paysages imaginaires. Ces invitations intérieures sont autant de passerelles, de labyrinthes mystérieux. Ses gammes chromatiques génèrent le chaud et le froid mais toujours sur le fil de l’émotion. Carol présente également des casiers typographiques habités d’un monde miniature. Au Petit Moulin d’Orbec, il y a aussi la visite commentée de l’exposition permanente « L’âge d’or des moulins de la vallée de l’Orbiquet au XIXème siècle » et la démonstration du fonctionnement de la machine à élever l’eau d’Ernest Jules Bollée qui crache ses jets d’eau dans le bief de la rivière.
