Avec 98 espèces en France, les Odonates représentent parmi les insectes un petit groupe d’espèces dont l’identification reste relativement accessible. Considérés comme de bons descripteurs de la structuration des milieux aquatiques et de leur diversité en microhabitats, les odonates constituent un groupe phare dans l’étude et le suivi de ces milieux. Avec près d’un tiers des espèces inscrites au Plan national d’action Odonates, la diversité des espèces et la santé des populations sont aussi révélatrices du fonctionnement des zones humides. S’adressant aux débutants et débutantes, cette formation propose un tour d’horizon du monde des odonates et de leurs habitats en privilégiant l’approche concrète sur le terrain.

With 98 species in France, the Odonata represent a small group of insects whose identification remains relatively accessible. Considered as good descriptors of the structure of aquatic environments and their diversity in microhabitats, odonates are a key group in the study and monitoring of these environments. With nearly a third of the species listed in the National Odonate Action Plan, the diversity of species and the health of populations are also indicative of the functioning of wetlands. Aimed at beginners, this course offers an overview of the world of odonates and their habitats, with an emphasis on a practical approach in the field.

Mit 98 Arten in Frankreich stellen die Odonaten unter den Insekten eine kleine Gruppe von Arten dar, die relativ leicht zu identifizieren sind. Da sie als gute Deskriptoren für die Strukturierung von Gewässern und die Vielfalt an Mikrohabitaten gelten, sind die Odonaten eine wichtige Gruppe für die Erforschung und Überwachung dieser Lebensräume. Mit fast einem Drittel der Arten der im Nationalen Aktionsplan für Libellen gelisteten Arten sind die Artenvielfalt und die Gesundheit der Populationen auch ein Indikator für die Funktionsweise von Feuchtgebieten. Dieser Kurs richtet sich an Anfänger und Anfängerinnen und bietet einen Überblick über die Welt der Odonaten und ihre Lebensräume, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der praktischen Arbeit vor Ort liegt.

Con casi un tercio de las especies incluidas en el Plan de Acción Nacional de Odonatos, la diversidad de especies y la salud de las poblaciones son también indicativas del funcionamiento de los humedales. Este curso está dirigido a principiantes y ofrece una visión general del mundo de los odonatos y sus hábitats, haciendo hincapié en un enfoque práctico sobre el terreno.
