Panorama de la Chapelle du Banquet – Mhère

Située à 554 mètres d'altitude au sommet d'une colline avec un superbe panoramique, sur les hauteurs dites "du Haut du Banquet", la chapelle Notre Dame du Morvan domine les régions avoisinantes. Construite en 1858, elle s'inspire du style roman du XIème et se compose d'un choeur en abside et d'un clocher porche haut de 18 mètres. Longtemps laissée à l'abandon, elle fut restaurée en 1986 par l'association PRO MORVAN. Plusieurs sentiers de randonner vous permettent de rejoindre le sommet de cette colline afin d'y admirer le magnifique point de vue.

Situated at 554 metres above sea level at the top of a hill with a superb panoramic view, on the heights known as "Haut du Banquet", the Notre Dame du Morvan chapel dominates the surrounding regions. Built in 1858, it is inspired by the Romanesque style of the 11th century and consists of an apse choir and an 18-metre high porch bell tower. Long abandoned, it was restored in 1986 by the PRO MORVAN association. There are several footpaths leading to the top of the hill to admire the magnificent view.
