Le Mont Saint-Cyr – Montmelard

Point de vue incontournable à ne pas manquer. Le Mont Saint-Cyr culmine à 771 mètres d'altitude. Il s'agit du plus haut sommet de la Bourgogne du sud. Du haut du sommet, le panorama est aussi vaste que varié (Charolais, Brionnais et Clunisois). À ses pieds, on découvre les vallées profondes, les collines boisées, les coteaux recouverts d’une riche végétation et tout au bas, le bourg de Montmelard. Depuis les tables d’orientation vous permettant de vous repérer, vous pourrez, par temps très clair, apercevoir le sommet du Mont Blanc. Vous marcherez sur les traces romantiques d’un monastère du Xe siècle, détruit durant les guerres de religion. Une aire de pique-nique aménagée en pleine forêt permet de s’y reposer en toute tranquillité. Site ouvert toute l’année, accès libre dans le respect de l’environnement.

From the top, the panorama is as vast as it is varied (Charolais, Brionnais and Clunisois). At its feet, you can see deep valleys, wooded hills, hillsides covered with rich vegetation and at the bottom, the town of Montmelard. From the orientation tables, where you can find your bearings, you can, on a clear day, see the summit of Mont Blanc. You will walk in the romantic footsteps of a 10th century monastery, destroyed during the wars of religion. A picnic area set up in the middle of the forest allows you to rest in peace. The site is open all year round, with free access and respect for the environment.

Vom Gipfel aus bietet sich ein ebenso weites wie abwechslungsreiches Panorama (Charolais, Brionnais und Clunisois). Zu seinen Füßen liegen tiefe Täler, bewaldete Hügel, mit reicher Vegetation bedeckte Hänge und ganz unten der Marktflecken Montmelard. Von den Orientierungspunkten aus können Sie an klaren Tagen den Gipfel des Mont Blanc sehen. Sie wandeln auf den romantischen Spuren eines Klosters aus dem 10. Jahrhundert, das während der Religionskriege zerstört wurde. Ein mitten im Wald angelegter Picknickplatz bietet die Möglichkeit, sich in aller Ruhe auszuruhen. Das ganze Jahr über geöffnet, freier Zugang unter Berücksichtigung des Umweltschutzes.

Aan de voet van de top ziet u diepe dalen, beboste heuvels, met rijke vegetatie begroeide hellingen en helemaal onderaan de stad Montmelard. Vanaf de oriëntatietafels, waar u zich kunt oriënteren, kunt u op een zeer heldere dag de top van de Mont Blanc zien. U wandelt in de romantische voetsporen van een 10e eeuws klooster, verwoest tijdens de godsdienstoorlogen. Midden in het bos is een picknickplaats ingericht waar u in alle rust kunt uitrusten. De site is het hele jaar geopend, met vrije toegang en respect voor het milieu.

Desde las mesas de orientación se puede ver la cumbre del Mont Blanc en un día muy claro. Caminará tras las románticas huellas de un monasterio del siglo X, destruido durante las Guerras de Religión. Una zona de picnic en medio del bosque permite relajarse en paz. El sitio está abierto todo el año, con acceso libre y respetando el medio ambiente.

Camminerete sulle orme romantiche di un monastero del X secolo, distrutto durante le guerre di religione. Un'area picnic in mezzo alla foresta permette di rilassarsi in tutta tranquillità. Il sito è aperto tutto l'anno, con accesso libero e nel rispetto dell'ambiente.
