L'Anse du Montmarin

Propriété du département. Toute proche de la pointe de Cancaval, l'anse du Montmarin fait partie des sites incontournables. Autrefois utilisée pour la construction navale, cette petite baie est un véritable havre de douceur, offrant un magnifique panorama sur la Rance. La présence de l'homme y est très marquée. Dans tous les endroits accessibles, il s'est installé et a multiplié les espaces agricoles mais aussi les constructions de moulins à marée (force motrice depuis le XVIIIème siècle) dont un exemple subsiste à Montmarin. Ici, les promenades se déroulent à l'ombre de la très belle malouinière construite en 1760 qui a inspiré un écrivain célèbre de l'Ille et Vilaine : Chateaubriand.

Near the Pointe de Cancaval is Montmarin Cove, a beauty spot not to be missed. Once a centre of shipbuilding, the small bay is now a veritable haven of peace and tranquillity, providing a magnificent panoramic view of the Rance River. Man has left his mark here, settling on every accessible piece of land and using it for farming or building tidal mills (the tide has been a source of power since the 18th century), one of which has survived in Montmarin. An ideal area for walking, centring on the superb country mansion built in 1760 for a ship owner from Saint-Malo which was to provide inspiration for one of Ille-et-Vilaine's most famous writers – Chateaubriand.

Eigentum des Departements. Ganz in der Nähe der Pointe de Cancaval gehört die Bucht von Montmarin zu den unumgänglichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Diese kleine Bucht, die früher für den Schiffbau genutzt wurde, ist eine wahre Oase der Ruhe und bietet ein herrliches Panorama auf die Rance. Die Präsenz des Menschen ist hier sehr ausgeprägt. An allen zugänglichen Stellen hat er sich niedergelassen und die landwirtschaftlichen Flächen vervielfacht, aber auch Gezeitenmühlen gebaut (Antriebskraft seit dem 18. Jahrhundert), von denen ein Beispiel in Montmarin erhalten geblieben ist. Hier finden die Spaziergänge im Schatten der sehr schönen, 1760 erbauten Malouinière statt, die einen berühmten Schriftsteller aus Ille et Vilaine inspiriert hat: Chateaubriand.

Eigendom van de afdeling. Vlakbij de punt van Cancaval is de baai van Montmarin een van de plaatsen die u niet mag missen. Deze kleine baai, die vroeger voor de scheepsbouw werd gebruikt, is een echte oase van rust en biedt een prachtig panorama op de Rance. De aanwezigheid van de mens is hier zeer duidelijk. In alle toegankelijke plaatsen vestigde hij zich en vermenigvuldigde de landbouwruimten, maar ook de bouw van getijdemolens (drijvende kracht sinds de XVIIIe eeuw) waarvan een voorbeeld overblijft in Montmarin. Hier vinden de wandelingen plaats in de schaduw van de prachtige malouinière uit 1760 die een beroemde schrijver uit Ille et Vilaine inspireerde: Chateaubriand.

Propiedad del departamento. Cerca de la punta de Cancaval, la cala de Montmarin es uno de los sitios que no hay que perderse. Antiguamente utilizada para la construcción naval, esta pequeña bahía es un auténtico remanso de paz que ofrece un magnífico panorama del Rance. La presencia del hombre es muy marcada aquí. En todos los lugares accesibles, se instaló y multiplicó los espacios agrícolas pero también las construcciones de molinos de marea (motor desde el siglo XVIII) de los que queda un ejemplo en Montmarin. Aquí, los paseos se realizan a la sombra de la hermosa malouinière construida en 1760 que inspiró a un famoso escritor de Ille et Vilaine: Chateaubriand.

Proprietà del dipartimento. Vicino alla punta di Cancaval, la cala di Montmarin è uno dei siti da non perdere. Un tempo utilizzata per la costruzione di navi, questa piccola baia è una vera e propria oasi di pace, che offre un magnifico panorama sulla Rance. La presenza dell'uomo è molto marcata qui. In tutti i luoghi accessibili, si insediò e moltiplicò gli spazi agricoli ma anche le costruzioni di mulini a marea (forza motrice dal XVIII secolo) di cui rimane un esempio a Montmarin. Qui le passeggiate si svolgono all'ombra della bella malouinière costruita nel 1760 che ha ispirato un famoso scrittore dell'Ille et Vilaine: Chateaubriand.
